thank you everyone. me and the stylist had a stand off at the shop becuase she wanted to give me a trim and i did not want one:nono:

I made a decision that noone puts scissors in my hair except for me! She was pissed and said that I need a trim so bad that if she did not cut my hair, she did not want me to tell anyone that she did it because she did not want her good name associated with such a raggidy mess:rolleyes: i just said..."ok"

Now I do trust y'all opinions. look at my ends and tell me what you think....

Your hair is beautiful! I don't see any signs of needing a trim.

All I have to say is :gorgeous: :gorgeous: :gorgeous:

Ummm... so what are the bootcamp rules again?

ETA: Just read your comment from your hairdresser is she known to sniff the chemicals she works with?! I mean I hear they can cause hallucinations if used in an enclosed space:spinning:

she's a d*mn liar!! Your ends look great

I agree with everyone....

Your hair is full, bling-ing and full of life.

I just think stylist are used to blunt - blunt ends, and anything else just doesn't look healthy to them.

Keep in mind, she most likely believes that your hairs overall health and appearance is because of HER care. :spinning:

Keep up the good work...encouraging to us all.

Thanks everyone!:grouphug3:

For the first time in my life, I feel like I can finally grow my hair to the length i've always wanted (waist). Its gonna be hard tryna keep the stylist scissors outta my head, but those are the same scissors that have kept me between SL and APL all my life. I'm ready to move on!

Next stop...BSL ( June 14th :crossfingers:)

Yes!!! Joyce Williams Hair Food is a staple for life, period. I put it a small applicator bottle and apply it to my scalp after every co-wash. Love, love, love this stuff!

Whoa Mama!!! Very very nice Lilamae. I can't wait for my hair to get as thick and long as yours. Are you using Ayurveda and henna as well?

Wow! Oh so luscious! Your hair has definitely grown tremendously, and it is so thick! Perfect! (your friend's hair - the controversial thread - has nothing over you now).

Your hair is very nice so don't let what your stylist said sway you. If you feel the need to trim by all means go ahead but if you don't, leave it be...

Wow, your hair is so flippin gorgeous! I can't stop staring. And I don't know what your stylist is on cause your ends look great, along with the rest of your hair. The bling is blinding me! I'm so jealous (in a good way of course). You're doing an amazing job, gives us all inspiration! Great job girl! Keep swangin!

Thanks Aggie! No henna or ayurveda yet. I just recently got some mabjringring something or other oil. But since what I'm doing is working well, I figured i'd better play it safe and stick to what's working, ya know?

I'm afraid if my hair reacts weird to henna or any of the powders, I'd be highly upset.

Thanks girlie, that was really sweet:kiss:
I am glad to be an inspiration. There are so many girls on this site who inspire me.

I unwrapped my hair today and it fell 1/2" longer and the ends were straight and they weren't raggidy like she said. So i'm just gonna leave it alone.
