To all of you lovely ladies that went out and bought them I wish you all much success! Thank you for the 5 stars, i feel honored. Thank you LadyKaypnyc for putting the icing on the cake. I guess I should have mentioned the price too, huh? It's really worth it if you are having any doubts. Until next time HHG!

So I went out and bought these , they were easy to use but I got down to my last 2 peices of hair to curl and the D@MN stick BROKE in half :ohwell: I guess I was pushing to hard, LOL so it took me about 20 min trying to manuever that little peice of stick I had left...that was a pain....Sally's is closed now so I'll get another stick 2morrow!! Overall this works very well, just be careful with the stick, I would buy 2 if I was you just in case!!

Curlformers are brilliant I now have pics in my Fotki:Flahsssss, I LOVE :love2:how it turned out. Thanks again for the tip.:yay:

I chose to use long and wide(orange and pink) curlformers.

I am so glad someone else has tried them and got great results too.. My twin bought these yesterday and I am gonna send her to your fotki to get an idea. How did you set the hair? Wet, damp, or dry? Any product applied before hand?

Actually, they worked great!:bouncy: Here's a link to my video on youtube:

And it is definately a revolution...... I apologize if somone has already posted pics. I did a search and found one thread with a lot of curiosity. So I tried them. First of all it's real easy, not going to insult anyone with a step by step method of instruction. But I will say it did not cause a lot of tension or manipulation because I didn't put them to close to my scalp. I started of with damp hair, mixed with LTR leave in and a little Shea Butter DMHL. Parted my hair in secions and began to roll. By time I finished with the last curl, the back curls were already dry. So having said that, if you are on a no heat challenge it will work. I sat under the dryer to dry the rest. So if your relaxed and you like the wild natural look with more curl and definition then a braid or twist out, or if your transitioning and trying to blend the two textures and tired of roller sets, I really think you would like these. I am 4b relaxed and 7 weeks post. If you have any additional question please don't hesitate to ask. HTH:grin:

Oh, the first pic is the front w/the rollers, the second 2 are the front and back before I wild them out (a more conservative look), and the third 2 are the curls finger comded and spaced apart.
I remember reading about these before and seeing the demo...your hair turned out beautifully! Thank you for sharing this. I'll have to see if the Sally's near me has any. :yep:

Yours turned out beautifully too Froggie08! I do really like these spirals and have made them using my Caruso.

What part of NY do you live in? Which Sallys did you go to?

You can either go to Brooklyn: 2129 RALPH AVENUE BROOKLYN, NY 11234 7189682502

That location is in the boonies...I learned the hardway, so try this one, it's in Queens: 7417 GRAND AVENUE ELMHURST,NY 11373 7188036457

The store in Elmhurst actually has the set, which comes with like 49 curlformers (I think) which includes the thread...The one in brooklyn didn't have them.:wallbash:

Call before you go just to make sure they still have more.

Lol, I had a serious brain fart! :lachen:

:grin:I actually set my hair when it was very wet I applied a frizz blast serum and NTM leave-in. I slept in my rollers (air-dry), it didn't take me very long to place them into my hair. This style lasted for about 4 days... everyone really liked it.
Like I said before the colors you choose represent the width of the roller I chose to buy the 46 pack/kit it's regular $54 but I got an additional 15% off (the coupon expires today... I pased a copy of the coupon in this thread). My kit included 46 long and wide rollers and a rod.

I saw those at sallys and I would love to try them but I could figure out how they worked. I wonder how many i'll need for my head.

These are on sale at Sally's for $9.99 a pack (any size). I picked them up yesterday evening and hopefully I'll try it out this weekend.
Not sure if the sale ends today, but if you make it there today make sure to use the 15% coupon!

How long did it take yall's hair to dry??.....I was soooo impatient and exited I took mine out after an hour, LOL :look:...so you know I had zero curl, I'm gonna buy another rod today and try to leave them in overnight!!
