Has anyone used this product before? I am extremely interested in purchasing it, but I wanted to see if anyone had tried it before....perfect spiral curls everytime without rolling....

unique looking, doesn't look to be too much more stress on the hair than rolling with flexi rods....

it is sold at select Sally's

I'm really curious about these. I always wanted to try a straw set to get natural looking ringlets but it seemed like it would take forever. These would be much faster and less manipulation b/c I wouldn't be twisting my wet hair . I also like the Barrel Curl ones -- perfect for a night out. The only downside I think would be that they probably don't work well on natural hair b/c they wouldn't be able to exert the tension necessary to straighten the strands and really hold them in place. The models on the page all of styles that would take forever with a curling iron, but with these it looks like you get uniform results all the way around without breaking your arm or burning yourself. :lick:

Maybe I'm slow, but that seems really complicated... :perplexed Seems like a really good idea, though.

EDIT: Ooooohhhhh I think I get it now. You just basically put your hair through the things and it will curl your hair for you! I may try these!

I just saw them at the Sally's around the corner. They have a set of 40 for 59.99. They look pretty cool but it looks like they're made for dry hair not for setting wet hair. Hmmmm....

I seen these and originally thought they were some type of velcro spiral roller thing and was like there is no way I am putting my hair on that, but after looking at the site...hmmmm

So did anyone try them. I saw them in Sally's this weekend & I was wondering about them. Now that I think about it this might not work so well on natural hair.

Yep they are definitely in Sally's. At first glance I'm just looking at the things like, what in Sam's Hill are those!!! Now I seeeeeeeeeeeeee........

Bumping for replies:

when my hair was longer I use to attempt spiral curls and could never get them right. I want to try this so bad but don't know if my hair is long enough. The website did show a picture of a model that used the shorter ones but her hair is longer than mine.

It looks as though it wouldn't take too long to do your entire head --- much faster than a 4 hr. strawset! The only downside I can see is that I like tighter curls sometimes.

I have a friend who works at Sally's and i asked her about these. She told me not to buy them because they don't work right and everyone brings them back. :ohwell:

i'm sitting under the dryer now. i lost my camera charger, so I won't be able to post pics. After I got the hang of it it was easy to rolled my hair. And I must say that I'm "rolling hair" challenge. I'll let you guys know how the results turned out. I'm natural and this is probably the fifth time in four years I have actually tried to rolled my hair.

Okay so it's now 2008, has anyone tried using these curlers. It seems too good to be true...:pinocchio. Any comments would be helpful, because I really want to purchase these rollers but only if they work.

WOW; I just saw these last night and was wondering how in the heck you do it; looks pretty good; I was thinking that I would probably want to separate the sections or make smaller sections.

OT, for you Fermodyl lovers (hey Honeydew ), they have a buy one get one free on the three packs of Fermodyl leave ins!

Okay Ladies,

I LOVE THESE CURLERS!!:grin:My curls came out smooth and bouncy. I used the Herbal Essence LTR conditioner and leave-in to rolled my hair. I quickly learn to take small sections, because my hair is to thick for the roding thingy. The only thing is I need some kind of hair serum to keep my hair from puffing up after a day. Keep in mine that I'm 4years natural so that's to be expected. As I stated earlier I'm "hair rolling" challenge,so if I can do it anyboy can.(LOL)It didnt take long either!!!!I took some pics on my phone,as soon as I can figure out how to take them off I will post.

Sidenote: When my hair started to puff I put each curl into twists. Which was cool because it gave me crazy hang time. Also I only set under the dryer for 45-55 minutes. (appox. 30 minutes on hot and 15-20 minutes on cool)

Hope This Helps!!!

My fotki is locked but I have old pics in www.fotki.com/sephus3

This is so good to know! If you were natural and you could use these, I'm definitely going to try them.
