Well, I'm all out of indigo! So....... I'll be:

Shampooing
Hennalucent in Gleaming Ebony
DC with Tropical Avocado & castor oil
Give Praital Silk Worm Rinse ONE more try! :perplexed
Bantu set for DH b-day on Sunday

I washed and french braided it tonight. I'm probably going to leave it until Sunday night.

Plan for Saturday Afternoon
1. Wash - Dr. Bronner's Peppermint liquid soap
2. Protein treatment 30 min.- Emergencee
3. DC with heat 30 min. - Nexxus Humectress plus castor oil & emu oil
4. Twist hair
5. Stare at my edges in a magnifying mirror until DH gets fed up.

lol, good luck

what is hmh??

well, i have a wedding to attend this saturday and i refuse to flat-iron. SO, I'm gonna attempt a bantu-set and have a curly/wash-n-go look. I don't know if i should wash and then bantu set my wet hair OR if I should wash rollerset and then tomorrow do the bantu set on damp hair...
I think it's "hide my hair."

I think I might use either my Alter Ego Hot Garlic or do a prepoo with my Alopecil Apretadora treatment. I will definitely be using my Alopecil Cinnamon Rosemary tonic on my scalp, no matter what I decide to do. I think I may DC with the Alter Ego. I love it. It makes my hair soft and detangled, in addition to keeping the shedding at bay. :yep:

i changed my mind.

update: deep conditioned overnight as planned, rinsed and then decided that twisting it up would be a good idea............

so far half a head done, about 60 twists and i've only another half a head left to do....:wallbash:

whew!

updated :grin::
i think i'll join the no manipulation challenge.....60 turned into approx. 200 twists and there's no way i'm gonna take these babies down anytime soon :drunk:

I love this condish, too! Too bad it's so damn expensive. Not good for a college student's budget. :wallbash:

As for me, I'm gonna try a couple new things. Shikakai instead of poo & a henna gloss when I d/c. Afterwards I'm gonna do an ACV rinse. Then airdry as usual.

Overnight pre-poo with castor and coconut oil, shampoo 2x, deep conditioner with heat for 30 minutes, wet wrap. Sitting under the dryer now.

Wash and set and use my Pibbs .
I deep conditioned with Kenra MC, and I just finished rollersetting. I am under my baby right now. Though my the back of ears are a bit hot. This thing isn't even on 70 degrees, I put the temp bet 60-70.

The only products I have with me here are Aveda, Bath and Body works brazil nut thingie (which comes in a tub here), Rusk Smoother, and Redkin Cleansing cream. I clarified (the water here is super hard), used Bath and Body works brazil nut thingie, Shampooed with Aveda Brilliant, and conditioned with a combination of Aveda Brilliant Conditioner and Aveda Damage Remedy. I finished with Rusk Smoother. I'm airdrying in a ponytail now, which I've never done before. My hair feels nice and smooth.

1.Poo- Soft and Beautiful botanicals coco-almond poo

2.DC- Miss key 10 en 1

3.conditioner-oil rinse: 1/2 cup cheapie conditioner + 2 capufuls soybean oil (its cheap and it works) +1 capful castor oil

4. Moisturize w/ s-curl, seal w/ EQP mango butter

5. Hide my Hair:sekret:

WHy you have to rub it in like that Britt. :cry3:
*Come on Christmas, Tee want the new Pibbs!*

 I swear I have been dropping mad subtle hints to fam members...

"If Mo only had a dryer...she could be doing her own hair at home to do her rollersets - it would be so nice if folks put their money together at Christmas time and got her one.."

Maybe that wasn't that subtle now that I'm thinking about it:ohwell:...I feel I need to keep repeating it though...:look:

I'm doing one of two things:

If my phyto comes I'll do a touch up and corrective.
If not wash and deep condish and protective style.

I'm trying to stay busy..............

Yay! My PhytoSpecific II relaxer came :love5:. I am going to give myself a touch up and I'm kind of scared since I've only done myself one other time about 8 years ago. I plan to do a roller set too, God willing. Too bad my Silicon mix hasn't arrived yet but oh well.

I washed with Aveda BR and deep conditioned with Aveda DR. I used Aveda BR conditioner for the first time as a leave in. I'm sitting under the dryer right now. I'm hoping for good results.

I'm doing a protein treatment today sometime later. I had a retouch 2 weeks ago and usually do it the week after but I was so busy last week that I didn't get around to it. I will use Nexxus Emergencee..........Pre-poo Coconut Oil and Honey (have it in right now), Shampoo w/Avalon Organics Lavender Shampoo (picked it up from Vitamin Shoppe yesterday), treatment, Deep Condition with Alter Ego Coconut Mask or Sole and Cinnamon Conditioner.......

**Edited because the first time I didn't list the entire wash routine for today before.

I don't even know why I am posting here, because it is the same thing every week.

I am shampooing and deep conditioning, airdrying and flatironing.

I was thinking about something, though. I alternate mild protein deep conditions every other week with my moisture only deep conditions. I notice that my hair stays more moisturized during the week I do the protein deep condition. I may do protein weekly and see what happens.

Watch me mess something up. :perplexed Let me just stick with what works. :spinning:
