Dec 8 9 10 What Are Your Weekend Hair Plans?

I've already started my hair washing this morning.

So far I:

Shampooed with Keracare 1st lather Clarifying Shampoo
Shampooed with Keracare Moisturizing Detangling Shampoo
Currently DCing with Dudley's DRC 28 Protein Treatment for 20 minutes
Moisture DCing with a combination of Kerastase Chroma Riche Mask, amla, brahmi, and kalpi tone powders and avj.
Leave-in - Bekura Honey Latte Hair Milk

May just bun my hair and head out the door to run some errands.

Prepoo tonight: aloe, ayurvedic tea, CP coconut oil

Tomorrow:

Wash: Pantene Gold Series Moisture Boost Shampoo
Treat: Ayurvedic gloss with various herbs and spices plus Eco cholesterol
Rinse out: CD cleansing conditioner followed by Suave almond and shea butter
Set Twists :
  • CP olive oil on scalp
  • Ayurvedic tea spritz(add protein leave-in if needed)
  • SM manuka honey mask
  • homemade whipped butter

  • shampoo: Acure Clarifying

Then I used some of my Black Friday / Cyber Monday purchases:

  • DC for 30 min: Bobeam Pamper Condish (about half the jar) mixed with 1 tbsp Lakshmi's Cupboard Bhaasvataa Oil

LCO:
  • Oyin Greg Juice (did not help detangle, and I knew it would be sticky but it was even stickier than I thought)
  • AfroVeda Pur Whipped Hair Gelly (did help detangle )
  • Lakshmi's Cupboard Bhaasvataa Oil
I twisted my hair, air dried overnight, then did a twist out.

That may be what I need - a detangling shampoo. I keep forgetting that my relaxed hair is Tangle City!! Never had issues with tangles when I was natural. I had to cut out a huge tangle this morning (today was the worst tangle I have EVER seen)! I don't have the patience to unravel wet, tangled, relaxed hair.

Wow, I'm just the opposite. Hardly ANY tangles when relaxed for 30-something odd years. Tangles galore once I became natural. I'm kind of jealous!

Will start my wash process Saturday night and finish Sunday morning:
Prepoo with @Chicoro AVJ/oil blend topped with EVCO
Wash with SM shampoo
Detangle with Aussie Moist (if needed)
Tea rinse with Ayurveda tea concoction
DC w something lol I am hoping to pick up a new conditioner today/tomorrow
Do a perm rod set

Yeah soooo about this plan. Complete fail. I didn't do any of it lol. I ended up with an accidental twist out over the weekend. I don't have the time to do wash hair during the week, sooo I will be just doing two flat twists to the back and moisturizing my ends nightly to get me through the week. Wash is canceled until next weekend lol
