What's your #1 staple product? Why? Only 1

I've used Herbal Essence Hello hydration since 2007. Best slip and cheapest. It has never failed to get me through what ever nappy situation my hair may be in. It's a must have for me.

Clay (I mainly mix two types but it is one thing:lol:). I love this stuff and will not be without it for the same reasons @nothidden stated. It regulates my hair- particularly making it more receptive to moisture.

Taliah Waajid protective bodifier mist. It detangles, moisturises, it smells good and it's cheap. I also love the medicated version to keep my scalp in check when I'm in braids.

Joico Moisture Recovery Treatment Balm!! The only product I stock up on a year at a time:rolleyes:
that's how I am about my HE hello hydration. I wish it was sold by the keg lol

Although I was in ULTAs yesterday an noticed they had my beloved Kendra on sale for just $16 for a liter but then I remember that i believe the product caused hair shedding.

Gosh, why'd you have to make it soooo hard?! :drunk:
If I must pick one product that would be Black Castor oil (Jamaican or Haitian). It is a multipurpose product for me. I use it in a pre-poo, mixed with deep conditioners, a hot oil treatment, on my scalp like "grease" and as a facial cleanser/moisturizer.

It decreased inflammation, reduced scarring and helped regain most of my hair density & thickness when I was being treated for a major illness.

JBCO/HBCO has great benefits if you're not allergic to the ash. It is analgesic, anti-microbial (bacteria, fungi & viruses), anti-inflammatory, a lymphatic & immune system stimulant, improves hair luster, helps moisturize bleached hair, decreases tangles & knots

Ingredients to Die For's Intense Moisture Hair Cream. I love this conditioner. It is designed to work well as a DC, cowash, leave in, or rinse out.

ETA: I add avocado oil to it and use it as a moisture DC, leave in, and moisturizer.

I just found out about this company recently. I have several items I want to try from them for the face too. Their mixes look awesome.

Suave Professionals Almond and Shea Butter Conditioner. I use it as a leave in for my wash and gos and never fails me.
