I can remember whether I posted, but I cowashhed on Sunday lol. Ill probably cowash tomorrow too. I think Ive only used shampoo once so far his month.

Ok im officially back into the states 20+ hour plane from Africa was no joke ! I added a most recent updated bun pic in avi and im about to co-wash with a rinse

@APrayer4Hair

In the Spring/Summer I tend to use a lighter-weight Co-washing Conditioner.

I'm using alot of: Hairveda, Curls Coconut Sublime and many of the lighterweight Cleansing Conditioners (as needed).

Fall/Winter I pull the heavier Cowashers out. For example, Oyin Honey Hemp, Kyra's, Claudies, SSI Avocado and a few others.

I just like the variety. And I like the feeling of a lighterweight cowasher in the Spring/Summer.

In the Fall/Winter, I tend to use the heavier ones for that extra added protection and moisturization.

I used Salon Grafix Cleansing Condish mixed with Live Green Volumizing Conditioner. Just using some left-overs that I probably will not repurchase. My hair did feel nice and moisturized afterwards. No dry scalp either!

Since I have revamped my entire regimen (going back to what I know), I think I will join this challenge. I started cowashing July 1st with a personal challenge to cowash and bun (6 days) until Sep. I am almost 3 wks post relaxer now and have been doing the following:

Cowash 1-2 times weekly-prepoo first with JBCO/Sweet almond oil, peppermint oil, rosemary and ylang ylang for 30 min or overnight. Cowash with joico k pak leaving in for 5 min.....deep cond with silicon mix. I will still shampoo on Sat's weekly.....maybe skipping occasionally.

Hoping to achieve thicker hair cowashing with this regimen. My setback from stretching really thinned my hair out.

I will take a starting pic tomorrow when I take my bun down to cowash.

I Co washed last night with VO5 Strawberries and Cream Conditioner and VO5 Passion Fruit Smoothie Conditioner.

I am in!

How many times a week will you cowash? Every other day
What conditioners are you planning on using: Suave naturals and Tresemme moisturizing conditioner
What do you hope to achieve by cowashing? Increase moisture, less shedding and breakage
How often (if ever) will you use shampoo? Possibly 1x a week depending on how my hair feels

I am so freakin tired...worked one of those 12 hour shifts turned into a 13+ hour shift plus 30 minute commute each way (*violin playing* lol). Anyhoo, skipped my cowash tonight bc my hair still feels nice and soft from Sunday which is a victory in itself! Will cowash tomorrow night with my As I Am coconut cowash which Im liking more and more the more I use it!:yep:

Co washed all week with Aussie moist. Used ntm as my leave in.

Sent from my HTC EVO using LHCF. any spelling errors should be blamed on auto-correct.

I switched my routine to cowashing with HE Hello Hydration because that is waaaaay more
moisturizing than the VO5 moisture milks.

I have a big 24 oz bottle of that stuff Ive been using for a while, and it feels great when its on and when rinsing, but Im beginning to wonder if it may be drying in the long run on my hair. I havent used it in a few weeks just because Ive been trying other stuff out, and my hair has been doing great as far as retaining moisture. Im gonna cowash with it tonight to see what the result is when its dry. Im gonna try the tresseme naturals soon and if I like that Ill probably switch anyway.

I havent tried the moisture milks in a long long time but want to revisit them. I cant remember if I liked them or not lol.

Co-washed with Organix Coconut and deep conditioned with CON Argan Oil under the dryer. Love that stuff!!! Hair feels amazing!!!

NEWBIES HAVE BEEN ADDED! :) Thanks for your patience! ;)

Also, cowashed today (and everyday) with my fav...Aussie Moist 3MM!

I have been working out almost daily so I have been cowashing a lot! What do you do for styling when you cowash daily? I don't want to manipulate my hair too much but I'm sticking with my workout routine!

HELP!!!

I want to co wash in the a.m. Using the following

-porosity control condish
-aphogee 2 min
-tresemme naturals

But I have no idea what order I should use them in

shortt29 When I cowash a lot I like to jut let it dry for a while and bun it and add an accessory....or Ill do a far side part and a big flat twist on the wider side and pin up the back or do a side bun. Both styes take 5 minutes. That is as creative as Ive gotten so far .

I just found a 1 liter bottle w/pump at Target yesterday. This is after I just bought 5 bottles at my local supermarket because they were having a 2 for $4 sale.:wallbash: Not that I'm complaining, I still got more product for my money but I wish that I had only paid the $7 for the 1 liter at Target instead of $10 for 5 at the market.

Anywhoo I found the HE HH to be far more moisturizing throughout the day vs the VO5. I use the Tressemme Naturals as my leave in and I noticed that my hair stayed moisturized all day long. With the VO5 my hair eventually dried up looking like like a big fuzzy black cotton ball.
