Hmm...no bad return experiences yet, but I did have a stylist tell me I wasn't white when I told her not to put grease in my hair after she was done with it (that's something a lot of salons in the DC area do). I was like uh:look:...I know. Now don't put that stuff in my hair.

Miss_C[/USER];12899681 ]Yep, lame. And then because of that she told me I was hard to work with. I was like sigh:perplexed....whatever, I'm just gonna go.

for years I had a stylist that was excellent with growth and hair care.... sucked at actually styling (she would grease down my wraps, and curl them under like f'in bumper curls)...:nono::nono::nono: no ma'am sista old school

So for about 12 yrs she would relax my hair, treat it, whatever.... put it in a wrap and I WOULD NEVER ALLOW HER TO COMB IT DOWN:look::look::look:

she never saw a finished product on me ever:nono:, but she was the bomb on healthy hair! (basically paid full price to walk out with my hair in a bowl shaped wrap) I miss those days

No bad experiences, just long wait times (during sales only):
HairVeda - will still purchase. affordable and good quality
Qhemet - will still purchase. affordable and excellent quality

Longest wait time ever (typically two full weeks):
Afroveda - never returned email on first order only! But I still like Curl Define (a favorite)

I ordered some hair product from an online store of and etsy member - I think she went out of business... Waited and waited, sent several emails, posts on the site blog, but no response. I submitted a BBB report and PayPal dispute to get my money back, all of a sudden, she could respond. She said she had family issues :/. I got my money back, and she promised to send me my order for free...I still have no idea if they worked as I never got them. But hey, I got my $$ so...

Nothing too bad to note really. I use reputable vendors and I normally get them within a few days. Even Anita Grant has stepped up, she used to take a while to deliver.

caramocal-joy.com!!! it's been over a year and i never got my product or money back! i sent emails and what have you but about time i figured out to dispute the claim and get my money back or whatever it was too late :(

Not that I can think of but I am "watching" a vendor right now. To see how long before my status changes from "processing" to "shipped". *I see you* lol

I had to cuss some chick out about a horrible dye job at JC Penny. How are you going to *** up my hair, get an attitude with me, and then try to make me pay to get it corrected. Oh no maam, not this nappy...

Mostly all of mine come from online vendors that I heard about through this forum.

I need to stick to folks who have their products in stores.

The only thing that stands out in my mind is when I was in the mall passing by one of those beauty supply selling stores that are also salons. I walked by with friends and went in for a little to look at what nail polish and hair conditioners they had. Fast forward to us leaving, a neck length see through hair vixen behind the counter yelled out of the store at me that I shouldn't be leaving, that I should be buying things cause my "hair was dry." Mind you, at this point my hair was very full apl. Was I offended? I would have to say no, because she needed gastric bypass and a low Caesar until maybe one day her hair grows back healthy.
