With. I love braids. But I vary the use because they can be tight and cause breakage. Weave has both pros and cons.

My hair grew better with extensions such as weaves and braids. It's better that I'm not touching my hair and playing with it.

Exactly! i retain sooooooooo much better when i can't fiddle with my hair.

I grow better with braids or even a sew in because I am not constantly touching it. Anytime my hair is braided it does well. It seems like when it is out...I see no progress even though there may be some.
