Eryka Badu's hair

Can someone please tell me what miss badu's hair is actually like. I did a search on google for pictures and I kept seeing pictures of some huge afros. Is that her real hair? I know a while ago there was news that those dreads she was rocking were extentions? I then saw a picture of her completely bald? What is going on, are the afro's fake or does her hair grow amazingly fast?

she DID have locs, but they werent that long....she had us all fooled with that one....the fros are wigs....the bald was real! that was when she ditched the locs....i remember seeing her bald for the first time on some award show and thinking, who on earth is the little asian boy?!?!?! i dont think shes still bald though, cuz shes been rockin those loooooooong purple extensions....so she has to have SOME hair right?

Yea...what they said! She did have locs up under those wrap/scarfs and then she went bald and made her bald "debut" at an awards show. then the rest is extenstions.

well on some award show she had a cute TWA so I imagine now it's grown out unless she's cut it back down. but like everyone else said right now she's rockin' wigs.

That's a shame. I got all excited thinking that was all her hair. I'll have to look for some other famous natural inspirations now...I do love Angie Stone's hair, I have to say. Please tell hers is real!

angies present permed 'do very well might be real. the nappy haired past dos were not.

i believe badu was on the cover of ebony with her son and a short twa.

As far as Angie Stone goes I read that she texturizes so that she can wear her hair curly, even though the "curly look" that she sports is a weave.
