Oh well. Guess I'll learn how to make my own butters now. I love the shea amla butter, but at that price, I will find an alternative. This is the exact reason why I don't buy Miss Jessie's. Her prices are ridamndiculous.
I hope she doesn't price increase herself out of business.
The irony is that a lot of these all-natural products are just as high, if not higher than Miss Jessie's. This price hike puts them at the same price as Miss Jessie's. $22 for 8oz of butter. I don't buy the argument that these companies use "higher quality" products; oils and shea butter aren't that expensive, even at commercial prices (at Vitamin Shoppe, etc.), and these companies are buying the ingredients wholesale.
well i was just about to place an order. she will never get another dime from me. i am so done with these natural online companies. i already have 2 pur whipped gelly, 16oz hemp seed butter and an 8oz cocolatte. so i aint hurtin for her products which arent that good anyway. i was ok with paying $12 because most of these natural companies charge $16 and up but $21????? she has lost her mind and i dont think shes gonna find it.
ITA. I'm trying so hard to stop depending on online hair companies.
I'm so disappointed. I have to think about what to do, now. Afroveda's shea amla was the business because it helped my hair and cured a skin rash I had been battling. I am saddened by my loss. I am going to look up Bee Mine product reviews.
I personally feel like Bee Mine products are too high as well. $16.00 for 8 ounces of moisturizer
