Hey Nay,

Just one shampoo?? Gosh you're tough on us pj's!

Well, if I can pick only one, I will have to throw my hat behind my old trusted Cream of Nature for dry/damaged hair. There are a lot of shampoo's that I like,

but this one is really an excellent shampoo that never fails to get the job done. I always come back to it.

Hi Nay,
I love Creme of Nature, but I also love Breakthru shampoo by Softsheen. It does an awesome job of cleaning, moisturizing and detangling as well.

I alternate the 2.

Imma'have to go with Cream of Nature too, it works soo well...I also like Motions, I think lavishing shampoo.

I like Cream of Nature also, but I think I would have to give Elasta QP for Relaxed hair the nod because it smells better. I would definitely recommend either of these two to anyone who wanted a high quality shampoo that is inexpensive.

Those are my two favorite too, I can't decide which one i like better..Everytime i use either of the two i declare it my favorite conditioner...I might say breakthru only because it has less buildup then the creme of nature.

Strictly Creme of Nature for Dry Hair. In a pinch, I'll use the normal but it isn't the same.

*Edited to add* I lied LOL I also like Elucence's Clarifying Shampoo.

I have to agree with JenJen on the Breakthru shampoo. It leaves my hair soft and detangled even without conditioner.

I must say I really really love the BIO hydrating shampoo in Lavender from BBW. It makes my hair super soft and it smells so good. Even though ppl here on the board frown on Lauryl Sulfates, it has never given me a problem.

I like cream of nature too. That's stuff has been around for year but I also like Kera...wait you said only one right?

Right now I use Aphogee's shampoo for damaged h air which I really like..However, I will be trying CON tomorrow when I wash my hair..It's my first time trying it and I really look forward to it as I've heard so much on this board about it..I plan to alternate b/w the two if I really like it..

Lanza Protein Plus shampoo (the original one in the sky blue bottle). No other shampoo makes my hair feel as clean w/o stripping. Just like Sassygirl said. I think its definitely contributed to the overall health and strength of my hair and its not got alot of protein like the title may suggest. The ingredient listing of it is very impressive and its PH balanced. Everything I look for in a good hair product.

Nay,

I'm telling you now: I cannot pick just one, so I will post a few and give why, too.

Aubrey Organics J.A.Y. shampoo: this is the best shampoo I've ever used in terms of scalp health.

Roger & Gallet Oatmilk Shampoo: this is the richest, creamiest, milkiest, best detangling shampoo I've used. It's been my staple throughout this past winter.

Professional Series Creme of Nature, regular formula (red/creme bottle): excellent detangler and extremely rich.

Gary Null Heavenly Hair Cleanser: most moisturizing decyl polyglucose shampoo I've found which cleanses extremely well without stripping hair or scalp. Really enjoy the cherry smell while washing

For all of these, they are also very gentle.

Cream Of Nature for me too NAY007, Because it help to detangle my hair so well

! And I don't have any build up problem with it, and there are no harsh ingredients in it. It's the ONLY shampoo that I use.
Sincerely
Zanna

CON is my fave.. its cleans just enough and never fails me
Breakthru is next...both have an already conditioned feel to them post washing.
I prefer the CON b/c its cheaper
smirk.gif

Nay, maybe you should stick w/ the CON. I tried 4 other shamps out and CON wins hands down.

thank you all sooo much for replying. i can't believe how many use cream of nature. i thought it would be a lot less...i guess it's really good for every hair type!!

Its a shame when I have to correct a conditioner that dried my hair out by using creme of nature shampoo!

CON all the way!

Hi Ladies
grin.gif

My 2 favorites are Bain De Terre Aloe bath Moisturizing Shampoo and Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Shampoo. They smell nice, thoroughly cleans, and DETANGLES.
For me, the above shampoos helps me retain 80% of my length.

I refuse to use anything else.

In my opinion, there's been raves about Clairol Renewal 5X on this board. And it's my favorite shampoo because it makes my hair 5x stronger from everyday combing, brushing and styling. I even love the smell, too. Plus it makes my hair soft and easier to comb.

I agree Keracare H. Detangling is the best for my hair by far. I've been using it for years and it's never let me down.
