The answer is why would I when I can get the same results if not better with my natural hair? For ME being natural is the best of both world really! Beacause I can get the relaxed look whenever I want and I can rock a braid out whenever I want.
I never say never, but honestly, this is what is working for me, my hair is doing well in its natural state and I am not looking back because my hair has never looked or grown like this EVER!

Enough of that, here is my 4 months update. Last time I Flatironed was December 2010.

For fllatironing I did one pass with my Maxiglide and a second pass with my sedu. I used KCKT for leave-in and Sabino moisture block.
To preserve the style, I have been rolling my hair on satin rollers every night.

Thanks for viewing ladies

Sorry about the huge pic, it will resize in a bit!

Excuse the typo in the title, its here not hear!

Your hair looks great and I agree with everything you said about having the best of both worlds. Keep up the good work!!

remarkable! Gosh, every time you post it takes me back to your threads from back in the day when I was frustrated too.

Like: I HAVE MADE MY DECISION

FRUSTRATED...WANT TO CHOP IT ALL OFF....

I am losing my cool with this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After your BC: I SHOULD BE HAPPY, BUT IAM CHOOSING TO COMPLAIN INSTEAD....

You stuck out to me because I was going through similar issues. I wanted to post these threads to show others (plus my friends who lurk LHCF) that it DOES get better and the frustration leaves after you get a hang of things after some time.

I love your threads because they're full of honesty and they're relatable. Congrats on all your progress, your hair looks maaaahvelous, my dear.

Uuuhhh...you're going to have to stop teasing us this way...j/k. You've made great progress! I'm mean yes look at the length of the pony.. You're doing great and just take a look at the area where the pony "holder is!.....You've gained/retained some good length & thickness. Love it!

LOL, did I post those threads?:lachen:It all seems so funny now. WOW, I forgot about those and I think I had even more after them lol. I can't imagine starting a thread like that now, not only because my hair is doing well, but also because you just can't post things like that on here these days:look:

Anyway, thanks for the compliment and glad to help others and will continue to keep it 100%.

Real impressive wish I could get my hair that straight. Real good job. That's the reason i'm going natural because you can always straighten the hair .... until it gets humid.. humidity is a well you know.

Looks great! Your hair is full and is making good progress. How long did it take you to do your hair from start to finish? Just curious cause it takes me so long to do mine and any tips would be helpful.

beautiful! i love this look. this was achieved using the satin rollers?
Thanks. Didn't even realize how similar those two pics are. lol

Yes that was achieved using the satin rollers. The curls were tighter at the beginning of the day and at the end of the say thats what happened. I loved it!

I did alot of things in between Shampooing, DCing and all that, but blowdrying and flatironing took about an hr and half. Oh and I did a little trim as I went.
Doing everything from shampooing to flatironing took half a day:perplexed because I did a whole bunch of stuff in between.

WOW, your hair looks amazing! I am hoping to have natural hair long enough to bun! I know it will take me awhile, but I can't wait to be where you are! Thanks for the progress pics! Very inspiring!:yep:

Wow, I didn't know you shaved it all off for your BC! Well, you already know that I like your hair but still...
