... this is disgusting. I don't get how parents can abuse their kids then post it on the net for the world to see :ohwell:

A friend of mine sent me this clip of a mom attemptng to press her daughters hair out, but she is so insensitive all you can do is :nono:. I feel bad for that little girl...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQJydxQRFKI

OMG that is sooo sad. And the mom has locs! WTH? Why is it so important to press that child's hair straight?? Poor baby.

Why are people filming child abuse now? WTH? This is a damn shame. This is part of the reason we can't get ahead...SMDH...This is just craziness. I realize it's like the Wild West on YouTube, but good Lord, even THEY should pull this...poor little girl...she is just petrified...

And that pressing comb is WAAAY too hot! You can hear it sizzling with every pass. Poor girl.:nono:
Stuff all over the counters....

Maybe age has made the memories of my childhood rosy, but the anger that she has with her daughter is shocking. Getting my hair pressed I remember being reassured that I wouldn't get burned, not threatened to be slapped in the face.

Who do i report this video to, this is not right at all. And the child is having problems breathing you can hear her wheezing.:nono:

 I coudn't even finish watching that:nono:

That little girl has such gorgeous naturally brown hair with highlights and this clown is sitting here pressing her hair with a 1950's era over the stove hot comb threatening violence if she flinches from being burned this is a hot mess and a half

Watch when that little girl grows up she'll never feel her natural hair is pretty and she has to process or burn her hair into oblivion to look "pretty"

My mom used to press my hair with an over the stove hot comb too:nono: she was never abusive with me like that lady was but the press would never last so much as a day and the more my hair reverted the more ugly I felt. Little girls internalize it when we straighten their hair for all special occasions willing to put them thru pain so that their hair can be "pretty" what kind of woman will that produce in the end?

The worst part was the lady was threatening smacking her in the face if she flinched like it was cute.

I'm thru.

What is wrong with these people? First of all you don't have to be that rough to press a child's hair. She is probably crying more because of all the bad talk coming from her mom's mouth.

And why is she cursing at that little girl and saying stuff like ' you taking up two hours or my time' It should be the mom's pleasure to make her daughter presentable. After all, don't our kids represent us.

I am just in awe. What a shame.

:amen: when my mom would press my hair she'd blow my hair out first and it wouldn't be painful as much as it was uncomfortable and she could have made it a relaxing experience or a time to bond like me and my mom would.

It was a hot mess. Then she got the AUDACITY to post it on YouTube. I'm just amazed.

Wow Im just shocked, I never had an experience even CLOSE to that while getting my hair pressed. Poor baby.

I was just going to post that... I didn't even finish watching the video.

My mom use to press my hair when I was younger, and although the actual come isn't touching your scalp, the heat alone was REALLY intense. You would think the mother would understand that~:nono::nono:

AND, why did who ever was recording this say that she would put it on youtube as if this is something to laugh about!? Maybe I'm missing the joke, but I don't find it funny at all! UGH..

I feel so sorry for her........The mom is evil, and has the nerve to invoke the Lord's name in this foolishness, uh, uh.

WOW. It’s absolutely disgusting the way she is speaking to the little girl, honestly, I just don’t understand some people. What is the point of placing this on Youtube?

I bet she thought it would embarrass the child. :angry2: So in addition to the terrible pressing, you want to embarrass the child for crying by posting a video of it on the internet. Which just shows how completely slow you must be because you just embarrassed yourself. Disgusting display. Some days I just hate people. That poor girl.

I'm always shocked when i see that people use this kind of language. Especially with children. It's so sad to see people treat their children like that. Some people aren't fit to be parents. And she named her Trzur? :ohwell:

:nono: This is such a hot mess. She knows that comb is way to hot it's like she just wanted to torment the poor girl

Okay who is going to save this vid before it goes "poof"?

Instead of just reporting it to youtube, we need to report it to some authorities...

Don't just watch and KIM...

Where do I report these vids?

I don't understand why its such an "honor" to post videos of children being embarrassed, ridiculed, cursed at and otherwise abused on the internet. The person tapping the whole incident is bragging about as though to egg the mom and the daughter on and basically act as an instigator of the whole situation.

I got my hair pressed once a month or less until I was 15. I was very tenderheaded and would flinch and cry as well but I was never made to feel as though I was wrong for feeling this way. My grandmom or aunt would stop give me a minute to regroup and then start again. They had patience with me especially because my hair was long and thick and if I was getting it pressed time was set aside knowing it was going to take forever. The way the Mom was talking about 2 hours was nothing for my pressing days.

I just pray for ppl when I see them cursing at their children and hope that one day someone will be able to show them the glory of God.

Wow, that poor little girl. I just don't understand why some people have kids. She looking all over for the comb, which is laying on the kitchen counter next to all kinds of dishes and food. Floor is filthy, not to mention the woman(and I use the term woman loosely) filming is making comments.

This makes me angry. Stop popping out kids if you don't want to be bothered with the responsibilities. If you want to live in filth and spend your time doing what you want, it's really simple, just don't have kids. I can't stand this mess.

That mother is wicked! She is another prime example on why some women should not be blessed with children. I am gonna report this!:angry2:

Wow!!! What in the sam hill is wrong with these freakin' people?!!!!! These poor children are going to have severe self esteem issues. :nono:

I totally agree!!

Sounded like the child's name was Treasure. I don't think she was feeling very treasured.
The mom, when/if she matures, will totally be wanting some forgiveness for this foolishness, but maybe she got treated the same way and just doesn't know any better.:nono: After all she did put it on you tube.

arghhh! My people, my people :wallbash:

I know right? Why name the child Trzur ( @ spelling) and not treat her like one?

You know what else gets on my nerves just as much as the mom. The buttholes that are taping it and making comments. You have someone putting scorching heat clumsily against YOUR face and try not to move one out of fear.

I just want to take that little girl home with me!
