I wear mine everytime my head is about to touch the pillow. I have to or my edges break off something fierce.:nono:

My husband does not mind because he also sleep in a durag to keep his braids looking fresh but I cannot talk to him about my hair journey because he does not understand it.

I Definitely Cover My Hair at Night (Always).:yep:

And Lately, if I'm inside for the day, I will wear my New Love:love3:: The Prettywrap. It stays Put All Night Long and It Moisturizes your Hair.:lick:

I was waking up 3-4 times during the Night, Looking for my Silk Scarve(s).:perplexed

Not with this One. Once you put it on..........It's On to Stay.

I can see why they have a "Patent" -- It does everything they say it will do.:look:

Moderately Priced. And Definitely Worth Every Penny.:twocents:

Yeah I always cover up now, I can see the benefits I get out of it. I moisturise then don my scarf as soon as I get in from work then it's done.

I went abroad recently and you can best believe I brought my scarf with me and wore it during my flight there and back, and I wasn't the only one to do it either! Ahh black women and their hair eh! ;)

I cover my hair with my bonnet every night but never when I'm just lounging around the house.

When I get an SO the bonnet will be trashed, whether he's bothered by it or not and I'll put my satin pillowcases to use.

I find alot of protective styles to be way too matronly my hair is down like 100% of the time if I'm leaving the house or around company. I can understand why he's frustrated by never getting to see your hair.

In my house my hair is usually tied with my satin scarf, if I was with a guy...I'd probably wait untill just before I plan to go to bed to tie my head up.....satin pillowcases can be a nice compromise as well:yep:

When it comes to protective styles, switch it up some more....try to think of protective styles that allow you to wear your hair down or give the appearance of it like senegalese twists or tree braids something more soft and less formal then buns.

I just started wearing the scarf around the house all the time (it helps). For the past year I wore it to bed only (or used the satin pillowcase). Before that... I wore no scarf, lol. My SO doesn't mind it. He just doesn't want me to wear it outside the house (unless it's in what he calls a "Badu wrap") but I don't do that anyway. If I forget, he sometimes asks, "where's your scarf?" or "don't you need your pillowcase?" :yep: Love him :)

Shoot, I've been wearing a scarf to bed since I was a lil' gurl :) Been wearing a silky/satiny scarf since I was 18 after reading about it in a copy of Hype Hair  which incidentally mentioned stretching relaxers!

My hubby hates one scarf that I have which is bright orange but in general he doesn't mind the scarf, it's either that or wake up to my hair in his face which he doesn't like at all

I only keep my scarf on if I'm going to wear a hat, or wear a headwrap if it's cold or something.

When we first started dating, I was trying to be cute. I never wore my scarf around him, and my hair suffered because of it.

The first time I wore it to bed, he was like "Errr ummmm...what is that?!?" So I had to explain to him that not wearing the scarf was doing too much harm and that he had to get over it. He understood, especially since he sleeps in a doo-rag LOL!

Now, he only pulls it off when it's time for the yum yum bouncy boucy LOL!! :snugglecouch:

I use to wear satin bonnets/scraf all the time when i first went natrual and started my HHJ. But now i dont. The only time i wear a scraf is for special styles, and thats not often, about once/twice month.

I sleep on a satin pillow case and thats enough for me.

My SO never minded because he knows how i am about growing my hair, we talk about it all the time and hes very understanding. (hes actually the one who encouraged me to be natrual b4 LHCF)

The Satin Pillow case is the way to go:yep:

LOL @ the yum yum bouncy bouncy!!!!!!!!!!

at my main job today, I wore my pretty wrap. Im at my second job now and I have my pretty wrap on. Im pretty much a pretty wrap girl all day every day. I wear it under my hats.

My hair stays wrapped in either my satin head tie or satin bonnet. Since I work from home there are some days that it doesn't come off at all. If I have to go out; I will take it off, but when I'm at home it is on. I got DH trained too. He knows if he wants to play hide and go get it:look: ; he better hand me my bonnet. :lachen: I don't even have to ask to hand me my bonnet any more. He'll automatically give it to me. I'm not going to have a setting back messing around with him, Oh No!!:lachen:

I do it every night period - even before I started my HHJ. I actually can't sleep without it. I do feel guilty when I have my hair wrapped all day around my BF but sometimes he'll give me my scarf and tell me to wrap my hair if we're just sitting around doing nothing.

I wear mines to bed every night and when I am at home. My bf hates the my satin cap and calls it my "Mushroom Cap".
