whats the point in continuing to burn with desire when all the pieces of the puzzle are there....

ETA: in fact just about everyone in my fam knows i got married because i wanted to get some lol....

Me too. :lachen:

We likely would not have married so soon if I wasn't waiting for marriage. We got married almost a year to the day we met. Being a 24 year old virgin definitely factored into our choice of wedding day. :drunk:

I don't regret it and would probably do it all over again!

Now that I think about it, I probably did too. I knew him from church, but we only dated 2 months before he proposed and we were married about 6 months after that. I was celebate for about 6 years prior to that. We have been married for 8 years, and I am in the process of divorcing. I really didn't get a chance to know him that well before taking the plung... Not that it can't work for someone else.

This thread is hilarious! Being an almost 25 y.o. virgin I dream, dream, dream about my marriage and having a husband. I only feel like I can't wait to get married when I feel restless (ya know what I mean), but that feeling always passes fairly quickly. My mom thinks its funny that when I was a teenager I had so much disdain for marriage, I was all like I don't want/need to get married until I'm 35/40. and now I keep telling her I can't wait til I get married I wish I were engaged with a quickly approaching date right NOW! But still the rational "non-ansty" side of me takes over so I don't want to hurry and up and get married only to get divorced. I'll take one day at a time and wait for the right time. As everyone keeps telling me "Your day will come and if it's meant to be it will be."*Sigh* PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE.
