Which Product(s) Were RAVED About On LHCF, But Just Didn't Work For You?

Elasta QP treatment
Redken All Soft Conditioner
Herbal Essences - anything, but especially Long Term Relationship. Booo!
Aphogee
Henna
Denman brush

Elasta QP DC
Sabino Moisture Block (blah!!!!)
Ayurvedic products (too time consuming and not worth it IMO)
Porosity Control (seemed to work the first time but after that no
ORS relaxer (no, no, no)
V05

Mango Butter- just didnt do anything for me
Nourish and Shine (butter)- to heavy, also did nothing for me
(Jury's still out)-- Aphogee Green Tea & Keratin spray...everyone seems to love this to bits and pieces, but my hair sure does not. And YES I'm usin' it right, damm!t!!!

Giovanni direct leave-in thank goodness it was the smaller bottle.... my hair was a tangled mess and dry from using it...but I don't consider my hair to be protein sensitive and my hair is not naturally dry.

1. giovanni direct leave-in........hated the wy the product felt and it made my hair damn near impossible to detangle.
2. shea butter.....made my hair greasy w/o actually moisturizing it.
3. sulfur.....wth?
4. msm.......no noticeable changes to my hair.
5. elasta qp deep conditioner (dr11, i think?)....... didn't see the big deal...no dramatic results compared to other conditioners i've tried.

WHAT DOES WORK-----
1. henna.... loves it! i usually follow it with indigo to keep my hair black.
2. roots vegetable glycerin......mixed with other stuff(mostly water), it moisturizes
like nobody's business.

Silicon Mix
PhytoSpecific Relaxer
Aubrey Organic Honeysuckle Rose Conditioner
Keracare products

Beyond the Zone Noodle head didn't define my daughter's 4a coils. No matter what I did, it just sat on her hair.

NTM! Hated it! The only thing I liked was the serum.

Joico K Pak! Once again, only the serum was nice. The line had my hair dry and breaking. It took two weeks to recover. Never again!!!

Beyond the Zone Heat Protecting Spray -- a joke. Dry, crunchy hair.

Silk Elements Line - coated, dry hair.

Beyond the Zone wax stick thingy - my edges laughed at it.

HE LTR - the leave in is ok. But the shampoo and conditioner - dry, tangled mess!

Redken - my hair hates everything redken. I don't care what new product is out, I know to steer clear because Redken and my hair flat out don't get along. The heat protector sucked engorged monkey balls.

I don't even wana try Aveda now because I just know I'm gona be disappointed. Me and Aphogee are straight.

EcoStyler gel - it wasn't horrible, but it def was no match for my IC Fantasia olive oil gel.
I get lots more shine with IC and my hair doesn't get so stiff (like it did with EcoStyler).

I wanted Ecostyler to work simply b/c it was cheaper.

NTM - Leave in conditioner
Megatek- Booooo!
Neem Oil - P to the U

I'd love all Nexxus products I'll gladly pay for shipping, :)
as well as Silk elements products, I love that line.

APhogee still alive an kicking in my house, with nexxus, silk elements and Motions. Staples for me!!!

:angry2: LYE RELAXERS:mwahahafire: (including Mizani Butter Blends)

Lye relaxers burned my scalp like crazy :burning::couchfire:and my hair was always underprocessed.
