Curls whipped cream left me dispointed :(
jane carter nourish and shine is aightttt.....I wouldnt rave - its jus shea butter and a couple of oils :ohwell:

Ah mannnn! Where were you when I needed to give some of that away (all but the Joico products - those are what's UP!)? I liked the Elucence too but me and the Lacio Lacio was about to fight even during a roller set and I'm still trying to figure out what the Ra Ra is over Silicon Mix. I think I might have to mix it with something just to finish it off. But I see....You've just tried a whole lot of products and have narrowed it down. I'll get there soon enough!:rolleyes:
 
Joico. It did nothing for my hair, I didn't notice any difference and I didn't like the smell. Maybe I just didn't need it?

(also, with Silicon mix, it works better w/ heat IMHO, though not AWESOME results if you're already using great coconut oil, new growth doesn't get as fierce now anyway).
 
Cantu Shea Butter-left my hair dry & greasy at the same time ?
NTM Leave In-the absolute worst
Eco Styler Gel-made my hair crunchy like potato chips
MegaTek-did not give me growth like Ovation(nothing but shedding :<

Coconut oil is just aiight
Pantene relaxed and natural mask- hated it
Dies en uno- just blah
Skala. I'm just using them for co washes now and mixing them to use them up.
Elasta QP DPR- hated it
avocado oil, worse than coconut oil. I need some thick oil in my life. Castor oil is mybabydaddy.
I am officially over henna and most ayurvedic pastes. It was good while it lasted. I thought it was conditioning my hair and making it red but It got red, now that hair is subsequently breaking.
ETA Suave coconut to co wash- I could have used nothing at all and it would have been the same and Fantasia IC has almost zero hold

Here We Go:

Aubrey Organics Honey Suckle Rose Conditioner - This didn't make my hair feel good, tried it 3 times to make sure. Thank goodness I decided to try White Camellia or else I would've given up on the brand.

Giovanni Direct Leave-In - Hard mess after my hair dried.

Qhemet Burdock Root - Doesn't work for me.

S-Curl Activator - Key word, Glycerin. #2 ingredient.

Care Free Curl - Just stayed on top of my hair, didn't penetrate to moisturize.
Hawaiian Silky Miracle Worker 14 N 1- It didn't work any miracles for me, hair was a hot mess at the end of the day.

Darcy's Botanicals - None of the products that I tried so far worked for my hair, that includes the hair milk and transitioning cream. I may give them one more chance and give their glycerin free products a try.


Afroveda Products - None of the butters worked for me. Like the Cocolatte Moisture Mask. :nono:

-Infusium 23-left hair dry
-Eco styler Gel-crunchy hair
-Keracare Humecto Conditioner-it's ok but Aussie Moist is better.
-Olive Oil- makes my hair hard when used on braid outs.
-Curl Activator Gold


Products that were not RAVED about and did wonders for my 4B hair.

-Keracare shampoo- makes it feel like butter no shampoo has ever made me want to molest my own hair.:nono:




Products that makes my hair look awesome but cause it to shed immediately.

-EQP-Feels like silk-It makes my ends really soft but causes shedding due to the Glycerin that is in it.
-EQP-Glaze makes my braid out look shiny and curly. (Glycerin)
-ORS replenishing PAK - I like the smell but it has Glycerin in it.
 
Keracare Humecto - the smell made me nauseous
Elasta QP Mango Butter - stiff and hard
Giovanni Leave in - fluffy water
CareFree Curl Gold - like melted Jello
Molasses Treatment - didn't do a thing
Shea Butter - hard and smelly
Carol's Daughter - smells like the 70's
Lustrasilk Cholesterol - just washes down the drain
Redken - I just didn't get how it could work for anyone
NTM - ok, just not for me
Silicon Mix - made me nauseous and my hair hard as metal
 
Silicon Mix makes my scalp feel weird, not liking the smell.
Elasta QP Mango butter just sat on my hair.
Avocado oil I can't stand the smell, so I don't even know if it worked, just had to finish it and be done with it.
Everything Carols Daughter my hair hates.
Aphogee 2 step leaves my hair too brittle.

Ok so i know i might get shot for this one but:

bee mines any thing (tried four different products and all it did was piss off my hair)
ecostyler clear gel (defines curls but it either leaves my hair feeling gummy or crispy)
 
I am sooo glad to see that Im not the only one who's hair didnt like Qhemet AOHC or Giovanni Direct Leave In...o yea and my hair hates EVOO

i could go on and on. So far the only thing that has worked for me is coconut oil, castor oil, Roux Porosity Control, Aphogee, Mega tek, and Ovation.

lacio lacio=when i put it on it made my hair felt silky but once my hair dried it was like i never put anything on it
eco styler gel-it was so weak my hair poofed in a coupke of hours!

the "juice"- made my hair dry out
giovanni direct leave in-made my hair scrunchy and hard
cantu leave in-coated my hair but once it dried it did nothing
(idk why i jump on bandwagons!!)

I FORGOT TO MENTION ALL OF THESE ALSO.
Ive spent so much money. No more bandwagons for me.
My search for the ultimate conditioner and moisturizer continues :perplexed
