What\'s your hair plans for 2004?

Mine is to :

Not use a brush any more(my thin fragile sides cant take it)
Drink more water
Stay on track with my vitamins

Re: What\'s your hair plans for 2004?

- I'm thinking of chopping off the relaxed hair summer 2004... I'll see.

If I'm still transitioning:

-wear more braids / twists / buns ... I gonna experiment with maintaining a (transitioning) style for 7 days like I was able to do with my relaxed hair.

If I think of others, I'll post it.

Re: What\'s your hair plans for 2004?

I'm going to let it sit still. I am going home for 7 or 8 months and have no reason to look cute, so I am going to keep it out my way!

Re: What\'s your hair plans for 2004?

Retain some darn length already (I've been chopping damaged ends off for the past year) Learn how to make roller sets last for at least 3 days or more. Make sure to clip my hair up when I'm showering because I tend to get soap on my hair. No more motions relaxer, take my biotin and stuff, don't put color on it hmmm that's about it

same, plus moisturize more often.

Re: What\'s your hair plans for 2004?

keep it healthy, and hopefully finally achieve my goal!!!!!!!!!

Re: What\'s your hair plans for 2004?

With having a baby come this February and moving back to the States this summer, I'm just going to surge it, bun it and leave it be. I'm expecting LOTS of growth this year..

Re: What\'s your hair plans for 2004?

Oh yes, London, and STILL beating my husband off with a stick! *laughing* Three boys will be quite enough, don't you think? I'll be lucky if I can keep the hair I have trying to stop these boys from de-fluffing my throw pillows...*mean look*

Re: What\'s your hair plans for 2004?

To keep on doing what I am doing, and no more color (even though it was semi). I retained over 6 inches of growth this year. And since I can bun now (I couldn't bun until March-April) I will do this a lot more and hopefully retain even more length.

Re: What\'s your hair plans for 2004?

I plan on not stressing out about my hair, consistently wearing my bun, and relaxing every 3 months. Thinking back throughout 2003, I realized that I stressed sooo much over retaining length, and I want 2004 to be routine and refreshing.

Congrats Leshia!

Well, I plan on wearing my real hair as little as possible. I think I'll spend most of the year in weaves, braids, and phonyponies so that I can retain growth and knock 'em out when I wear my real hair down.

you are right to expect lots of growth this year. Super duper hair growth is a major perk of having a baby. Besides having the adorable baby of course!

Good luck with this last trimester! Is this your first?

Re: What\'s your hair plans for 2004?

My hair goals this year are:

1) To remain faithful to my hair regimen.

2) Moisturize from the inside out (meaning drink plenty of water, herbal teas) and cut down on caffein as I've heard this can affect hair growth.

3) Eat more fresh produce (believe it or not this is EXTREMELY difficult for me) I love carbs too much.

4) To not be afraid to trim if necessary, but not go overboard and also to learn how to trim MYSELF.

5) Continue with supplements even if it's just a daily multi vit.

6) Stay positive and know that I will achieve bra strap length and beyond!

7) To be a testatment to people (in real life, not just online) that black women can have hair longer than shoulder length.

Okay, I'll stop there.

Re: What\'s your hair plans for 2004?

More exercise and a healthier diet.

Leaving my hair ALONE for a few months (things beyond my normal routine - bangs this monht, color the next and on and on and on) and stop tyring to always get a look going. My hair is growing well - but if I keep trying to be cute all the time I'm going to make a false move. I can feel it.

To take only the supplments I know work for me and stop experimenting. I given myself more than enough tummy aches.

Bun up as often as possible.

Moisturize daily now that I've found some really great moisturizers.

Stick with one relaxer.

Re: What\'s your hair plans for 2004?

(1) Continue to drink water.
(2) Remember to take vitamins on a regular basis.
(3) Stop being a PJ (It will be hard, but I will try!)

Re: What\'s your hair plans for 2004?

Hmmm... these are my hair wishes for 2004:

1. Healthy hair - I begin taking MSM next week. I will also begin doing horsetail rinses and ACV rinses next week.
2. No curling iron for a year.
3. Continue to drink tons of water.
4. I would like to add six inches of healthy hair to my head. Please Santa ... I think I've been pretty good this year!

Ditto about the stressing!
I want to extablish my hair and vitamin routines and stop worrying!! I think stressing alone has caused me to lose hair!

Re: What\'s your hair plans for 2004?

My hair is long (3 inches past bra strap), I was going to cut it in January with long layers - but I decided to wait till it is somewhere down my back and then cut - so I do not lose lenght.

Use emergencee more often
Phillip B oil treatment
stick with the Affirm relaxer!

Re: What\'s your hair plans for 2004?

I plan to keep on doing what I am doing, wearing protective styles, except for special occsions. My regime seems to be working just fine.

Re: What\'s your hair plans for 2004?

#1- to stop stressing about my hair
#2- continue to maintain its health
#3- Stop buying so many products and stick to what I know
is working for me.

Re: What\'s your hair plans for 2004?

I going to cut off a good three inches some time in the summer and stop spending soooo much money on hair products.

Re: What\'s your hair plans for 2004?

I think I may go back to my Profectiv cremes now. The website gave me nostalgia. I may go to Giant first to see if they have them.

Re: What\'s your hair plans for 2004?

To keep it growing, its been doin such a beautiful job since Ive found LHCF. Im going to stay on the bun challenge, and continue to take the best care of my hair that I possibly can.

Re: What\'s your hair plans for 2004?

<ul type="square"> [*]Find a protective style I like and can stick with. I didn't do protective styles this year and only retained 4 noticable inches.
frown.gif
[*]Make sure to wrap my hair EVERY night. [*]Finish finding my staple products and stick with them, less experimenting. [*]Stay on track with continuously moisturizing. This has been the best thing for my hair. [/list]
