Well this is only one tip because my hair is a work in progress. This isn't related to hair growth though.
my number one tip is using oil and moisturizer after washing for airdrying has worked wonders for me. my hair actually looks shiny not frizzy when before it looked really dull and looked like i didnt even have a perm. and my hair comes out softer this way.
the single handed most important thing that I have learned regarding healthy hair care is deep conditioning which was a foreign concept at one time to me. For years I did not deep condition . I am suprised I still have hair on my head...the next most important thing that I have learned is to moisturize. DO NOT LET YOUR HAIR GET DRY....dry hair breaks easily, period.
And two (less critical) yet very benificial things that have worked for me is s-curl and head-baggying.
overnight oiling---well it was working when I used EVOO...but now that I'm using castor oil my hair is becoming very dry....and....this crap takes two-three shampoos to wash out of my head....and I love cowashing, but I can't...not with castor oil...I'm using up all my shampoo...and it's the expensive kind...now I have to buy a clarifier...cause I have residue...I can feel it....Never again...never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever...ever ever ever ever!
I think I replied to this thread already Where's the hit/miss thread at for November. I gotta go find it.
Babygurl, your hair is beautiful. It's shocking to see where you started from and where you are now! It attainable! You are my hair inspiration. My goal is to get my hair to where yours is. I'm always looking in your album. It's under my favorites.
