What’s In Your Hair Growth Arsenal?

@julzinha - trust me I didn't pay that doctor "no mind". :yawn:

:rose: Thank you for your share - I actually have EVERYTHING you mentioned. :yep: A mix of Monistat, rosemary, thyme, cedarwood, rice bran, JBCO, & peppermint is in a little jar in my night basket. A jar of hair moisturizer is doctored up with same oils. I have a bottle of NJOY Sulfur oil I plan to doctor up this weekend, when I dig out my sublime sulfur powder. But based on you and @cynd recommendation I will add Eucalyptus oil to all of my concoctions.

Thank you @julzinha and @cynd .:urock:

Just make sure the Eucalyptus is Radiata not Globulus.

Mineral rich seems to be working for me. Im getting more than my piddly quarter inch a month.

My multivitamins are helping too. This product I have contains everything too: chlorella, spirulina and probiotics.

Shears. Seeking and destroying ssk every 2 weeks keeps the snagging and resulting breakage down.

I agree with the monistat! Its freaky. But unfortunately gave me headaches.

Good luck!

@IDareT'sHair - thank you. I am giving it all I got - to get some hair growing in those areas. My focus has been improving consistency with my regimen - not buying more product. For example: 1.) keeping a back-up container of all supplements - so I won't run out of a particular supplement 2.) on the weekend putting daily supplement doses for the week in snack/small plastic bags - so I can grab and go in the morning. 3.) keep a bag of frozen fruit as a back-up fruit supply for protein shakes. 4.) adding oil mixes to moisturizers, leave-ins, monistat, etc. for quick app 5.) setting-up night basket and; 6.) keeping my eye of the prize/goal/objective with computer screen saver reminder, motivational note in bathroom and having a HAIR BUDDY!!

I've heard mixed reviews with Rogaine. BUT other than re-stock the ONLY product(s) I'm going to buy are more MTG and start taking VIVISCAL again. Are you still taking Viviscal? If so, any status/results?

@ilong

I took Viviscal & Biotin all throughout 2014.

This year I am taking Phytophanere by Phyto & Biotin. Really liking them.

With the Phytophanere you take 4 months on 1 month off.

During the month off, I purchased Phytospecific Cap Energy to use and taking that with Silica.

For 2016, I may 'switch' to Phytospecific Cap Energy & Biotin and use Phytophanere during the month off (and just kind of reverse it).

A member here who works for Sephora told me about Phytophanere and switching from Viviscal to Phyto and offered to use her discount to get them for me.

She said customers at Sephora were having much better results with Phyto. At the time, I wasn't ready to make the switch (because I liked Viviscal) and had enough Viviscal in my stash for the remainder of the year.

So, when 2015 rolled around, I committed to make the switch. Unfortunately, she doesn't post much anymore, but I am using the Phytophanere (per her suggestion) and getting great results with them.

@ilong

You got a Good Game Plan and I am certain you will "reverse the curse". :kiss:

But you got to stay consistent no matter what.

Lord knows I've had my share of hair related issues as well. :nono:

And it can be overwhelming, depressing, mind-boggling just when things were going good, something else by way of a set back happens.....:perplexed:

You make have to do a little extra work than most and your results may take a little longer, but you will get through this and come out on the other side.:sneakyhug:

@DarkJoy - thank you. I see a lot of members are using the mineral Rich. I may add it to my future purchases list.
Yas - IKR - regarding the Monistat. But I think it's better than applying the RAW form of urea. :eek:

<lol>

Drinking lots of water, cardio-based exercise, and lots more vegetables in my diet. The only supplements I take are vitamin D because of where I live and iron for a few days after my period. Cut about 3 inches at the end of March and have gained a little under 2 since then.

@IDareT'sHair, where did you get the old formula of Mega Tek to buy. I scouted websites all day yesterday calling and asking if they carry/ have the old formula. I'd love to get my hands on a few bottles of this.

@PureSilver

I found a couple bottles of Old Formula from a lady on ebay who was closing her tack-house. That was a while back tho'.

She was suppose to finish doing inventory and get back with me, but I never heard from her again.

If I knew I'd never hear back from her, I would have used it a little more sparingly. I was giving folks jars & stuff, because I was certain, I would get more from her.

She thought she had more of the original formula in her stock and wouldn't know until they completed the final inventory of existing items.

She charged me like $22.00 a bottle.

We were also able to get the Original Formula from: Aracta Pet. But no such luck lately.

They now have only the new (Flowered Label).

@IDareT'sHair Geeez I'm disappointed. I may need to start messaging all eBay sellers to find out who has the original formula. Could you post a pick plz of the old formula bottle. It's been so long I don't remember fully what it looks like.

@julzinha -oh-oh!! I have Globulus what is the benefit of Eucalyptus is Radiata over Globulus? I'll wait before I use it again
Bumping for @julzinha

Also I found this online:
Eucalyptus Radiata is preferred over Eucalyptus Globulus because it is less harsh, more pleasant to inhale and less likely to irritate the skin. It can also be used on sore muscles and joints and also as an antiseptic.
Most websites information on the differences is similar to above.
