love y'all :rosebud:

Pre-Pooing
DCing
Henna!
Castor Oil, Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil.. oh there's so many you get my point
Air drying in braids
Little to no heat
Co-Washing (I realized that this is only good for me in the summer though)
Mega-Tek (Only when I have braids/extensions in :yep:)

Minimal direct heat
Co-washing
Using EVOO (pre-poo, adding to conditioners, etc.)
Deep Conditoning
Protective styling

stretching
protein conditioners
moisturizing/sealing
putting oil on previously relaxed hair
using JBCO
using heat protectant
co-washing

I can't remember if I picked it up from this forum or not but washing in sections is one of the greatest things I've ever done for my hair.

DCing
Clarifying/Chelating
Coconut Oil....for everything
Sleeping in a silk scarf
Sleeping on a satin pillowcase
Washing in sections when i have a lot of NG
Buns

Deep Conditioning
Little to no Heat(my hair thanks me for this)
Stretching that relaxer(should have been doing this)
ETA: Coconut Oil

Frequent deep cons, conditioner washes, wide tooth combs, protecting my ends, silk scarves and pillowcases, leave-ins, oils, some aryuvedic potions, leaving my hair alone!

I would say:
-Low manipulation
-Stretching relaxers
-Moisturizing and sealing ends
-Keeping hair up off the clothing
-Less aggressive trims (in frequency and the amount trimmed)

These are practices I learned prior to LHCF that I'll stick to for life, but they all fit within the LHCF methodology:
-Little to no direct heat
-Weekly Deep conditioning
-Rollersets
-Vitamins
-Covering hair when you go to sleep at night

DC'ing
Chelating
moisture moisture MOISTURE!
avoid salons whenever possible
avoid heat whenever possible
PROTEIN!
Using oils!

Low Manipulation...Combing only one wash days...
Deep Conditioning
Moisturizing and Sealing

Prior to LHCF, I left my hair care to my stylist....she works wonders but I have to learn to work with my hair myself. Right now I only go to her for relaxers....and that is probably every 2.5-3 months...

Low manipulation
co-wash
no direct heat
washing hair in sections
no SLS shampo

ETA: Can't forget about MOISTURIZING!!
