This is a great thread! My LHCF staples include co-washing, baggying, the "mohawk" style for rollersets (courtesy of Macherieamour), pre-poos, and deep conditioning.
1. Deep Conditioning
2. No-brushing (it's not for me )
3. Sleeping with satin/silk scarf
4. No petroleum/mineral or other harsh ingredients in my hair-care products
5. Coconut oil
6. Shea butter

- I hate to admit it guys because it is sooo embarrassing, but I never did any of those prior to LHCF...Well poo'ing of course, but it was whenever I felt like it. Yikes...
the use of glycerin!!! has taken my hair to anotha level

no using mineral oil---i use to always wonder why my hair would not stay moisturized--versus just being coated and the next day dry as h*ll

I always had long thick hair--but it was unhealthy as in would break off in certain areas and etc--now--my hair is is good to go!!!!

How to be even more accepting and understanding of whatever a person wants to do with their hair from natural to relaxed from short to long, from coloring to no coloring. In the end we are all unique individuals and my hair journey can be uniquely different than another persons hair journey and even though that may be the case continue to encourage people on thier own journey.
