I got the courage and support to BC because of this site,
I am loving castor oil and aloe vera gel. CO washing. I am twisting my hair now. Dont comb hair until I wash and have not use heat since bc.

*frequent deep conditioning
*maintaining the moisture/protein balance
*protective styling
*stretching relaxer touch ups
*daily moisturizing and sealing with oil
*acv rinse during relaxer process
*reconstructor with added silk, wheat, and panthenol during neutralizing process
*trimming when necessary
*no curling or flat iron - strictly limit the heat

this great habit of buying so many conditioners - that i have to get rid of

Adding glycerin to conditioners
Adding conditioner to shampoo
Inquiring with LHCF before buying a new conditioner or "leave in" that my stylist recommends
Clarifying tips even though my stylist does it, but he never really told me why. He uses regular shampoos that aren’t popular, not a clarifying shampoo.

  • Deep conditioning
  • Co-washing
  • Vitamin Regime
  • No blowing drying, I went out and brought a pro hooded dryer (Best thing I ever did!!) :mmmchocolate:
  • KNOWING WHAT I AM BUYING!!! WHAT THEY DO! WHEN TO USE EM!! IF THEY WORTH THE £££$$$$$:yep:

NOW THAT IS ONE OF THE BEST!! Knowing the worth of products!!!!!

-Always research products before buying

-Getting professional quality tools--they make a HUGE difference in the finished style and health of your hair

-Washing 2x a week

-Deep treatments once a week

-Limit usage of direct heat

-Mixing up conditioning potions

Deep conditioning at least once per week.

Protecting the rest of your hair before applying a relaxer by putting oil or grease on the ends.
