my stylist hair was okay. it was a little above shoulder length. she had the nerve to give everyone that walked in the door advice about do's and don't. she always had her hair in a dried out bun. well after my 3 mos hiatus she had a short above the ear bob. go figure

She has beautiful hair. It is shoulder length relaxed, very thick, and very healthy looking. Her hair has lots of body, which I love.

Strange you would post this question...my former stylist (who put my perm in the first time)seemed to be very knowledgeable about haircare.It took me 4 years to realize that she KNEW alot but apparently did not practice what she knew. My last and final time going to her was in October. Her hair is still the same length as always,thin,no body,and appears plastered to her head.

My stylist has recently started wearing a phonypony.Braids damaged her hair over the summer.

So are we assuming that the stylist's does her own hair? Because some of them don't. They let the other stylists in the salon do their hair. I mean if I did heads every day, I would let somebody else do mine just for the pampering. If I'm going in, the first question is whether they do their own hair and if they do any one else's hair in the salon. If her hair is chewed up, I want to know if she did that to herself or if the other stylist did it to her. It could very well happen, you know. Look at all the horror stories on here.

I don't have a stylist now unless I want to drive 1 1/2 hours each way which I may do. But she had natural hair and it is always in a protective style and has shine to it. I could tell she had some length to it.

My stylist has beautiful hair! It's very thick and healthy and it comes to her bra strap. She's taught me how to take better care of my hair.

My last stylist had long hair. Maybe bra strap length. It looked thin though but that was because her hair was fine. She usually wore it up. She was notorious for over processing and trimming too much.

My stylist has healthy relaxed hair that is past shoulder length. Her advice and practices are consistent with her hair, so I trust that she will respect my hair goals.

my mom is a stylist an she does her hair herself except if she wants a color or hilite. she let a "friend" of hers bleach out her hair a year or two ago. i dont know how much bleach this women used but my moms hair broke off to 3 inches from the root all over! as of right now my moms hair is 2 inches from brastrap thick an growing healthy an relaxed.

One of my stylists had long thick relaxed hair past bra strap, and she was tall so it was very long. Another had longer than shoulder length dreadlocks. Both were very careful with my hair. I was lucky, cuz I just walked in and they were the people I saw but now if I ever go back to a salon, (which I probably won't because the one relaxed woman knows little about natural hair and the other is kind of expensive) I will make sure to find somoene with nice hair to keep up my lucky streak.
