I love this product. Hardly no one knows about Indigo products. I never see it mention here. I use the relaxer...best one I've ever had at a salon. I also have the shampoo and moisture blend conditioner but I like the deep penetrating conditioner much better.

Yeah its actually a rediscovered favorite of mine. I dont know why people dont use it. Its really not that easy to come by. Youll only find it sold by professionals or in a professional BSS. I have tried the deep penetrating conditioner. Does it have protein?

Very hard to come by. When I used the deep penetrating I had not discovered this site so I didn't know about protein. I just remember it making my hair very soft.

Girl, I used to use this. It's so hard to find. Actually, I still use it to color my phony pony's, if I want it to have a nice richness to it. They recently changed the packaging and I didn't know what it was. I just don't think it's advertised much.

kitchen-
I thought they discontinued or something. I went to two stores and stocked up. I hope they changed the packaging cause I'm addicted to this stuff.

I love Salerm Wheat Germ Mask too! This stuff is the BOMB! Can anyone post pics of the indigo line? Is the relaxer lye or no lye? TIA

No one ever talks about my picky hair's favorite conditioner, Got2B So Smooth Emergency Repair Creme'. It's really just a great deep con since it moisturizes, detangles, and adds lots of slip and you don't have to worry about using just the right amount. It smells just like orange creamcicles, has a thick pudding texture and only costs $6.00 for a 16 oz tub which lasts awhile.

I love this thread, I just started my fotki album, I'm going to put a lot of products that are not mentioned here. I use a lot of gueye's and african formula products, excellent lines. They are under advertised. I'm going back to the things that grew my hair the most.

How is this working for you? I have been wanting to purchase it but I wanted to see more reviews before I do so. But it looks good though:) .

i used Le kair - Castor Oil - excellent pomade, smells beauutiiffulll and it moisturizes SOOOO well!!

also La India - Miracle pomade - makes hair grow very fast, and also smells delicious. Used throughout the summer, its good stuff!

also, does ANYBODy use Keracare Oil Moisturizor with jojoba??? i think i'm the only one on the board who uses this as part of my regime!!! this stuff is a good send, i really believe its one of the best daily moisturizors on the market!!

I thought i'd start this thread as there are plenty of unknown goodies, that we dont mention. The big names have taken over!

what do you use on your hair that has benefitted but doesn't seem to be used by anyone else on the board?

I just used my Keracare with jojoba sample the other day when my hair was feeling totally dry:mad: like straw. I put on like three moisturizers and this is the only one that did it for me. I've been sleeping on my samples.

I use a couple things that aren't mentioned too often:

-Queen Helene Cholesterol Hot Oil Treatment
-Pantene Pro-V Sheer Volume Shampoo and Conditioner
-Nexxus Ensure Detangling & Acidifying Conditioner
-Motions Nourish Leave-In
-Mane N Tail Olive Oil Creme
-Profectiv Long N Healthy Mega Moisturizer
-Nexxus Assure Nutrient Replenishing Shampoo

Gueye's is excellent, I've used their N'gone relaxer in the pass between relaxers, very mild, helps strenghten your hair. I've used their hair oil excellent growth product, I've used their stimulating conditioner, leaves the hair soft, feels like you're getting a hair massage. I've used the leave in also great for stimulating hair growth, I used these products a few years ago, they were my staple, I got side - tracked over the years but as soon as some of my products finish, i'm going right back to their products as well as african formula's let it grow line.

I've used the Let-it-Grow Shampoo and conditioner. Very mild and gentle on the hair.

I have used Avon's Planet Spa Mediterranean Olive Oil Conditioning Hair Mask. Good stuff and very moisturizing too! I have to order some more. I have heard this mentioned on this site ONCE a few years ago by a new member and NEVER again.

i like to use MOTION LOTION #9 by surge. I use with mane n tail conditioner( as leave in) and really has my hair soft, air or hood dry. i don't think i've heard this. oh this is a oil.

HAHA...almost everything I use is not mentioned on this board. I'm thinking of switching to using a SINGLE hair care line (either Crome or Ecoly).

Currently I use:
Abba's Moisture Therapy Shampoo (I Love it...but I want to try a shampoo without Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfates). Don't worry ladies, the verdict is still out on whether or not sulfates are damaging in any way to the hair or the scalp.
Ecoly's Wheat Sage Detangling Conditioner
Abba's Nourishing Hair/Skin Conditioner (leave in that works beautifully when I'm putting off washing my hair)
Elasta QPs Daily Moisturizer

I love my Got2B So Smooth! It's one of the only conditioners that my hair really responds to, I use it every time I need a light protein boost.

Another one of my staples is Donnies Curl Moisturier...S-curl was not doing it for my hair, and Donnies is 99.5% glycerine...my hair soaks it up like nobody's business, and my new growth is nice and soft and happy. :)

I live in Cali so I'm able to pick the Crome and Ecoly up at Planet Beauty. You might want to check www.labeauty.net or www.planetbeauty.com.
There are so many rumors out there about sulfate free shampoos (whether or not the stuff is damaging)...the verdict is still out. But the fact that you're putting your hair the same thing that is in toothpaste and anti perspirant makes me think, its worth giving my hair a shot without it.
I'm also impressed by the Ikon line of products. While I haven't tried their poos and cons I've used some of their styling products (leave in's, smoothing creme, heat protecting spray and setting lotion) and am impressed. Their setting lotion is GREAT and only requires a small amount. No crunchiness after a set, but all the moisture you want.
Crome - poos smell great. Their "polish" serum is GREAT - gives the hair a great shine and scent without feeling goopy and heavy. Haven't tried the conditioners yet.
And Ecoly, I've used their "Wheat Germ" Conditioner (no cetyl alcohol). Good stuff. I have super curly hair and have never been able to wash and comb without a detangler but Ecoly's conditioner did the trick. So I'm still deciding.
I know a lot of LHCF swear by KeraCare (macherieamour has GORGEOUS hair) but I find their products to be a little heavy - AND hard to find in some areas (like where I live). And NeXXus? I tried it. It was ok - but for the prices - forget it.
LOL - I've tried it all.

These two come to mind:

1. The complete herbnlife line: especially the crown heights oil blend.

I just discovered this stuff and may I say, the Headrush moisturizer is oooo la la...can't get enough of the stuff, I have to find an excuse to drive across town to get it...plus the stuff sells sooo fast, I have to call the company to see when more will arrive.

It did actually work to speed up my hair growth, not as much as the MTG (I dont' think anything can compete with that). It DEFINITELY MOISTURIZES AND STRENGTHENS AND THICKENS!! I order it directly from Eqyss Online.

You can also get it at some pet stores (yeah, yeah, I know but it IS MARKETED FOR HUMAN USE AS WELL SO THERE!) :yep:

You're still using this, I'm waiting to use up the rest of my BBD to get more of this stuff, it REALLY works!! I have the shampoo too, but the special one.
