I call this my Citrus Mix:

  • Unrefined shea butter
  • Essential Rosemary Oil
  • Essential Lemon and Orange Oil
  • *Essential Grapefruit Oil..if I have some*
  • And Unrefined Avocado Oil.
The smell is to die for...

Hmm that lookjs yummy.

Overall if I melt it into a mixture--I will add-- the usual EO's i.e. Rosemary ad such. But I like to give it a Peppermint flower scent. i.e. Peppermint/geranium, peppermint/ylang-ylang, peppermint/lavendar.

I'm bumping this...

Yesterday, I used the following to mix mine: Olive oil, coconut oil, almond oil, castor oil, jojoba oil, rosemary oil, and aloe vera....

Interested in other recipes, so subscribing!

I have officially given up shea butter, no matter what I whip it with, it is just too heavy. I'm now experimenting with a mix of aloe vera gel and grapeseed oil.

For my 2 DDs--shea butter, whipped with equal parts olive oil and aloe vera works like a charm.

These are some great ideas! Especially the glycerin and castor oil.

I mixed w/ coconut oil but I like the essential oils idea... (for fragrance) never tried that!

Vegetable glycerin. It's still very fluffy and I only have to use a little bit of it.

I'm about to mix some with grapeseedoil.

Last year I was making a mix I saw on youtube but after a while I think my hair was not happy with the aloe.

I mix mine's with equal parts H6O and Aloe vera gel. Its the perfect consistency, not too greasy. I use it on my hair and body.

Aloe vera juice and coconut oil. I whip and use if for my hair, body, and especially my feet when I get out of the shower . I slather it on and throw on my socks. Extra soft, non-crusty feet in the morning.:yep:
wow! anyone else mix this with vera juice???

I'm going to try mixing it with:
Coconut oil
Hempseed oil
Wheatgerm oil
Lemongrass E.O.
