OH Hayl naw somebody posting bad reviews about LHCF on amazon. Let me go read it now. I vented on Amazon.com in regards to the Carolyn Grey book because ppl were talking bad about the book SO I had to set them straight. I thought Amazon was not going to post my review but they did and I was shocked when they did.

. There are a lot of people who have fotkis dedicated to black hair growth who are not members of LHCF, so....the "Anonymous" could very well be anyone and everyone.

Those negative comments on the fotkis have been happening for years to ladies on this site.
In order to get onto the fotkis, someone has to have the password (for the ones that are password protected.)
In order to GET the password, you either have to grab it from a siggy (like mine) or request it from the owner.
When my fotki was attacked, the only place I had my fotki posted was here, on this site. It was someone who was on this site who got my password from the siggy.
It's anyone, sure, but it's anyone from LHCF.

Below is a link to a book review/"masked boycott" on amazon.com about our LHCF forums. TO THE PERSON WHO WROTE THIS REVIEW:WHY???! Everyone is intitled to their own opinion. But slandering and draging LHCF through the mud is downright disrespectful to those who are honest and for those who reach out and give knowledgable advice and tips. To my LHCF sistas: PLEASE POST YOUR OPINIONS HERE AND REASURE OUR NEWBIES THAT WE ARE NOT FAKE!!!To the person who sent that nasty review: Please don't take what you think is right and pose it on others. Let everyone have their own chance to decide weather or not LHCF is for them, don't decide it for them. There are a couple of things I can think of. Either she is an envious misguided person. -OR- She is someone who may have "something" to do with Cathy's book, or someone who has a business or book or something to sell. So they slander LHCF because the information is FREE!!! In other words, by Cathy's book and don't go to LHCF where the info is just there. The ladies on LHCF are getting results. That whole thing could be a covert operation.

Maybe this is nothing new, but it seems weird to me - the anonymous derogatory comments posted about Camelia (I must admit, that really shook me ) and now this. Is this something new? I'm just puzzled as to how someone can make fun of LHCF with falsehoods and perplexed that they would do so in the context of a book review.

She put the address to this site in that post. If anything, people are going to come on here out of curiosity and see what she was talking about. Once they come here, they will see with their own eyes how wonderful this site is and see all the advice and success stories everyone has. Then, that person may like what they see, and join the LHCF family. Thats 1 LHCF 0 Beaver's House.

The way she went into LHCF was really bizzar and random. Still, when my hair gets to BSL or WL with the help of this forum, i'll take it as a compliment if someone thinks its a fake weave or lacefront wig. The joke will be on them when they realize its all home grown!

Some if not most people on their are wearing weaves and lace front wigs, lying about how their hair grew so long in a matter of weeks, and how their hair will be growing down to their ankles by year's end, and fussing who said what about the Bible, pure craziness”. I wanted to say that I have proudly been a member of Long Hair Care Forum since December 2005. Since joining this site my hair HAVE gone from above shoulder length to now 2 inches above my brastrap. My hair will soon reach my brastrap at my next touch up. I owe all my hair growth success to LONG HAIR CARE FORUM, Cathy Howse book, Nicole Smith book, taking hair vitamins, keeping my ends hidden by wearing my hair up, keeping my hair/ends moisturized, washing and deep conditioning my hair ATLEAST once a week, doing protein treatments weekly (to keep my hair strong, so it will not break off), and did I mention by getting good hair growing tips from LHCF. Yes some women on LHCF wear wigs and lacefronts but they wear them to protect their ends while growing their hair and many of them ACTUALLY have long hair underneath those weaves and lacefronts. You may ask how do I know this and the reason why I know is because we have meetings in different states where we meet with other ladies and talk about our hair goals, swap hair products, and of course touch the beautiful locks of the ladies. Long Hair Care Forum have policies on the way a member is to conduct themselves on the board and those who DO NOT follow those policies can and do get banned from LHCF. We at LHCF have pictures to validate our hair is actually the length we say it is. We actually have BEFORE and AFTER pictures. Hair grows 6 inches a year and if you protect your ends, you will keep those 6 inches, unless you like trimming ALOT then of course you will not keep the 6 inches. A lot of us on LHCF do our own hair, from perming, trimming, styling/roller sets. If we didn’t know how to do it before joining LHCF we know how to do it now. We at LHCF are an internet family oriented environment. If any of us have any issues in our lives, all we have to do is type it in, WHATEVER it may be and someone will respond within minutes. We don’t curse, degrade each other. Our goal is to help each other reach our hair’s potential and it doesn’t matter what type of hair you have, coarse, kinky, fine, curly, etc. Your hair can reach its potential. We are proof of that. Visit us sometime and see yourself.

ETA: I behaved myself because I didn't want anyone to think LHCF was crazy BUT I posted on Amazon.com a while back because ppl was ticking me off about Carolyn Gray's book and encouraging ppl not to buy her book and I was pissed because Carolyn's book is very helpful for someone who don't have a clue in hayl on where to start and yah she copied and pasted the week by week steps but I myself needed that book to be laid out like that..anyway this is what I posted in regards to Carolyn Gray's book:

A)you're obviously too ignorant to take the time to educate yourself on the dynamics of AA haircare irrespective of where the info can be found
B) you're bald and not by choice
C) just plain ignorant
D) all of the above

I do believe in free speech but listen up Beaver and listen up real good.......please refrain from making such disparaging remarks about LHCF because PLEASE BELIEVE the hair is REAL on the site.
