Using Mega-Tek with a sew-in

For the ladies that use MT and have a sew-in, what's your regimen?

I want to try MT with a sew-in as my protective style, but from what I understand there's alot of washing/rinsing that's required and I don't want my weave getting all ratty and worn out from the frequent washing.

I put the mega tek on my scalp in between my cornrows as a leave in everyday using an applicator bottle and every 5th day I take the baby toothbrush I bought and put shampoo on it and scrub my scalp so it can be clean then after its dry I start over again applying everyday.
To keep it from getting to dry I spray my surge revitalizer on my scalp in the morning and afternoon and before I go to bed is when I apply the megatek.
This is only my 2nd week so we shall see how the regimen works.

My regimen is very similar to acooks

Apply MT mix to scalp every night with color applicator bottle
Moisturize every 3 days
Wash 1x per week
Cowash 1x per week
D/C with every wash with a true deep conditioner, not just any that says conditioner
