Hi and welcome to the board hottrinigal617
Well most of the folks here using distilled water have hard water in their area. If u don't have that problem then u don't have to use distilled. Another option if u can't find distilled is using a shower filter. They aren't horribly expensive and if u do a search on here u can find some threads with links to websites that them.
I just scanned this post so sorry if I already missed this question but are there any naturals doing the daily rinsing? Does the manipulation disturb your hair since it may be harder to comb natural hair than relaxed hair? Also how do you daily (or frequent) naturals wear your hair?
i'm natural ans i daily rinse, but i have dont have wash and wear hair. i plait it usually after a wash and wear it under a scarf. granted this is my plan for a minute b/c im not feeling the way my hair's lenght looks for my face.
I've noticed that my nape area has grown like crazy since I started spraying with with a moisturizing spray every night. This has made me want to add "rinsing" to my regimen a couple of times a week. I'm thinking...if my hair/scalp is a plant, then it needs water to grow!
