Ubavka - I promise you I'm not making things up. I'm lucky in that my har can withstand a lot of abuse if I'm careful and I've been as careful as I could considering...but it breaks a LOT and there are short pieces in and throughout. My hair could be in much better condition. I'm workin' on it tho!

What made you decide to use Bigen? I'm seriously thinking of coloring (I have dark hair but I keep fnding those d***n grey hairs). The only thing stopping me is fear of damage. I thought about using Bigen.

Simplycee - I picked Bigen because I consider it far less damaging than most colors with Sebastian and Jazzing and Adore and things like that being the only exception. It's pretty gentle, and if used as directed (don't add heat - I learned the hard way) it gives great coverage (even of grey - I don't have any but alot of people who want to cover grey use it) and is relatively mild. It's hard to apply tho - you need a brush and a color bowl and everything - but if you're up for it, it's worth it!!! It will LAST. Another reason I picked it. Err on the lighter side with Bigen tho. The color deposit is heavy and it will go really dark on you if you aren't careful. My hair was a bright honey blonde shade when I started and you see the end result - almost black. And what was their medium BROWN color.

But I'd used it several times before so I knew to pick something a little lighter than black brown, oriental black or something darker that would have given me more coverage, but less options to do something else later if I want. True black is almost IMPOSSIBLE to remove.
