What is the ISH treatment?
tdwillis, I have another new love in addition to that. NelsonJ Brazilian Hair Masque. I'm in love!!! You can get it here on sale: http://www.frizzy2silky.com/shop/nelsonj-brazilian-hair-masque-p-5729.html. I got the smaller size to sample it. My hair felt sooo soft and buttery.I think I will replace my conditioner with this.
Stop foxylisa, stop it. My husband told me I am not even supposed to buy anything else. Hold up, it's only $9.00? Alright then. Off to frizzy2silky.com.
I agree, oooop's twists are to die for.

I just got my ISH treatment. It is supposed to give her maximum conditioning and shine. The process seems rather complex though. First you have to wash and partially blowdry your hair. Then apply the ISH treament. With a foil protected flat-iron heated at 220 degrees, clamp the flat iron over the treatment (I guess it works best with heat). Let the hair cool, then rinse and style as usual.
You can also just shampoo hair then apply treatment and sit under the dryer for 5-10 minutes (it says to do this for dry or moderately damaged hair).
Foxxylisa how do you apply it? I'm lazy so I just want to sit under the dryer, but will that give the maximum results?
I concur... All of these ladies have :THUD: hair.
Question....
WHAT does ISH do???? I am going to bounce in between the Curlynikki and Foxy LISA look for 2009- so - I would love to know more....

Thanks foxxylisa. I just went and bought a wide flat iron tonight and will do this treatment tomorrow. You are awesome for answering all my questions. Thanks so much.
It provides intense moisture for your hair. It is supposed to last six weeks. I don't think it actually lasts that long though. When I flat iron my hair, my hair is so shiny and silky. Before I blow-dried my hair, the curls were soft and quenched.
I've never tried it that way so I can't say. I apply it with the flat iron like the directions explain. I put mine a little higher than 220. I have a hard time melting the jojoba balls. I think that was b/c I using heavy duty foil at the time. The first time I did it myself. It did take a long time. The second time my sister did it for me, and it went a lot faster. You should try taking really wide pieces (you know, like pieces that are the length of your flat iron). Mine is 1 inch. When I did my sister's hair, I took a wide piece that is about as long as my flat iron plates to speed things up a bit. It only takes about two to three seconds to melt the little balls.
