Treating Your Marriage Like A Business

There’s so much talk of treating your marriage like a business but what does that mean and what does it look like?

I have my own ideas:

-Creating yearly goals broken down quarterly
-Having family meetings once a week or so
-Creating a budget or something (I’m really bad at this. I just spend spend spend)
-Being organized and having routines in place (I’m great at this)
-everyone/both people having their job or function in the family/marriage
-I’ve also always wanted a family mission statement

Learning that its not all romance, flowers and candy. Not allowing how you feel to affect the end goals

Yeah I think applying a business model to some of the day to day aspects of marriage will help keep your household running smoothly. Budgeting, time management, delegating, communicating they’re all important. Can’t just be running things haphazardly and expect to not be stressed out.
