Im about 4 months post relaxer and Im wondering what you ladies are using to deal with the 2 textures.

When I stretch for four months used keracare's Humecto as lexi84 would say the granddaddy of all conditioners.

I would have to say Kenra Mc as "Head Conditioner N Charge":lachen:

Im not transitioning but i have a sister who is and she swears by Giovanni DEEEp Treatment- her hair is like mine (4abcde) and she co- poos with it and says it gives her hair that seaweed feeling. You may also want to try Giovanni Direct as a leave in- alot of different hair types on the board like it. HTH

I like the suggestions here. I'm 4-5 months into my transition too and DEFINITELY need all the slip i can get.

I would have to say Keracare Humecto and Motions Moisture Plus are tied. If I want something cheap for DCing and regular conditioning, I get Motions. If I want something that I can use as a conditioner (I never DC because its too light) and then as a leave-in as well, I get the Humecto. Both provide amazing slip, though.

I also think Silk Elements is just a tiny step ahead of Motions, I just get the one I can afford whenever I run out, so I may get Silk Elements when I run out of Motions this time... But I don't think there is a substitute for Humecto because it is the perfect leave-in for me.:yep:
