And I would have been the third person to say it :lol:....when my hair was relaxed my hair always had the stringy ends look when it was clost to touch up time because I relaxed every 6-7 months so I had these insanely thick roots and somehwat thick relaxed hair but it gave the illusion that my hair wwas damaged. After relaxing it looked so much better. keep that in mind for next time :yep:

Wow! The trim looks WONDERFUL...much better. I did a much needed trim last night, and I immediately felt SO much better. I totally understand that feeling of relief and hopefulness.

Girl you too? I think we have similar hair types. It did feel good getting the trim. I've made a decision that I always want my hair to be blunt like this. I'm in love with my new hair now. It's all swingy and bouncy, even with products in it. I needed a fresh start regardless.

Also ladies, I honestly don't think there will too much of a drastic change lengthwise when I relax. I say this because my hair doesn't grow that fast AND it grows in wavy and I don't relax bone straight. I've noticed over the last 2 touchups that there wasn't any significant change in length, just loosening of the texture.

Your Trim looks great, I suspect you will have your length back very soon :)

Im right behind ya with the trim!

ArmyQT...please don't panic. So what if everything's not full from root to the ends? Your ponytail is long and there's really no reason to cut now. It's growing well and you can trim it after the first of the year! Don't be discourage, your hair is doing great.;)

Girl NOTHING happened. And when I say nothing I mean I did nothing to my hair pretty much all year :lol: Except blowfry and flatiron more than I used to (about 2x a month, sometimes more).

And I didn't really do any type of protein conditioners or anything. Truth be told, I kinda think that what happened was inevitable with the relaxer. My hair is very fine and I'm not as gentle with it as I should be.
:spank::hammer:

Girl...now you know good and well you can't be doin DAT! SHAME on you!.

Chayil

I agree. You did a great job. I love the feeling when a hair problem can be solved without getting traumatized :lol:

Your trim looks great Army :). Just like you I have fine strands. It's aggravating to deal with my hair but you've given me hope.
