Hi Ladies! /images/graemlins/wave.gif

I hope this note finds you all well. I want to ask
an unorthodox question. What do you use in your hair
when you absolutely don't want it to move? I am a dancer
and need to put my hair in a very sleek bun without having
whisps of hair come down even after dancing. (Ballet Bun... you out there? Any suggestions?)

what do you use when you are trying to achieve this look?

TIA!

I am not a dancer, but I like my hair just so, if you know what I mean. When I do updos, I like to use hairspray that has flexible hold, so that it is not hardening to the hair, but still keeps that 40 mph wind from messing up the do! I have found that Herbal Essences Flexible Hold Hairspray helps quite a bit. It has a soft, but enduring hold (you can even run your fingers through it or comb it out, yet it still holds up against the wind. I know hairspray use is really a no-no, but I have no problems because I wash it out frequently as well as use a light holding spray. Stay away from spritz and such, those are the killers! HTH

My would stay down when I slick my edges with LeKair Cholesteral. You should also try plain Gelatin. I know sychronized swimmers used it to keep their hair in place. But since Gelatin has protein it could leave you hair looking dull when you rinse it. You should probably moisturize with a good conditioner after washing.

I don't use this but this may be what you are looking for.
