i still haven't been able to get bantu knots down unless i blow out my hair. i guess i'll have to wait for more length :ohwell:

i pinned mine up...it looks cute but I guess it didnt dry fully. ur hair looks apl or close to it, mine isnt that long so I'm sure u could do it

Cleansed my scalp this morning with my caffeine shampoo concoction again. I will try this out for at least 2-3 months to see if there is a definite change in the speed of my hair growth.

My wash day is tomorrow so I am prepooing overnight with aubrey organics honeysuckle rose. I am so glad I bought this con. It makes my hair feel so soft. Its a def staple.

I twisted my hair on Thursday and I am LOVING this style. I haven't had the time or patience to do mini twist for over a year. I hope to keep them in for 4 weeks.

Haven't done much with my hair cuz I'm sick. Just cornrows under a half wig. I moisturize with jherri juice + HELTR seal with my indian oils mix every night. I want to wash my hair since I am 12 wks post on Sunday. I want to give it a clarify with ORS olive oil, 2 min aphogee and then Leklair mixed with honey and oils will wait I see how I feel.

Still cowashing and DC'ing every other day, baggying every night and using an MN mix. I'm getting good growth but not sure how much because I don't straighten my hair. I may try flat-ironing it at the end of the summer for a length check.

Since it's so hot here, i'm gonna continue co-washing and bunning. I'm gonna incorporate my 14 in 1 and seal with JBCO. Especially my edges.

Nothing new. I'm anxious to blowdry and flatiron, but I'm extremely lazy. Oh yeah and DCing on the regular

I am back to [wet] bunning during the week. this summer is ridic (as always). i am mostly doing wash n gos on the weekends to give the edges a break. hoping for full BSL/MBL by the end of the summer (2 inches)

washed ,dc'ed,and air dried my hair last night, used my megatek this morning and rebraided my hair, and will keep doing this till i hit my 6 month stretch, half wig it is!my ends look ok, i won't b getting a trim till my next relaxer.my growth is great I am very happy with my progress.

I feel my hair hasn't been growing as fast as it did last year. That could be a number of reasons:

I was outside in the heat more often
I co-washed more often but now, my relaxed ends can't take all that cowashing
I exercised more
I relaxed so I was able to see my progress. Now, my ng looks the same as it did 2 months ago!

BUUUUTTT

I'm done with the MCAT so I just started working out everyday again and I'm not taking MSM for my joints (with hair as an added bonus). My sulfur powder comes in today and I'll be making my own growth oil. I also just started working and class starts next week so I'll be walking around outside more often. BRING ON THE GROWTH! lol

I dc'd overnight with aohsr. Today I will do my usual wash and wet bun. I think I may be able to get to brushing bra strap by the end of summer:crossfingers:.

I think I may finally have a solid regimen. I purchased a new shampoo and conditioner by Cabellina. I've only tried the conditioner so far and I love how moisturizing it is and how it makes my hair feel. Both shampoo and conditioner contains coconut oil, olive oil, keratin, and horsetail, so I'm hoping I see improvements in my hair within the next couple of months.

My current regimen is cowashing twice a week with Cabellina, applying Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship leave-in, and sealing with coconut oil. I air dry in two braids and wrap my hair in a satin scarf at night, and mostly I've been wearing buns. I deep condition weekly with Queen Helene Cholesterol for an hour. I will only shampoo every two weeks with Cabellina. I also apply Parnevu T-Tree Herbal Grow on my scalp nightly and apply coconut oil to the length of my hair nightly as well.

I'm trying to keep my regimen as simple as possible so that I will stick with it. I'm in the no heat challenge, but I plan on sticking to no heat (unless for special occassions) until I reach my ultimate goal of WSL. I still need to work on drinking 64oz of water a day, exercising 3x a week, and remembering to take my multivitamins. But so far, things are going great. I'm hoping to see a lot of retention by the end of this challenge.

I ended up doing a henna/ indigo on Thursday night. Now my hair is too black I look like one of my great aunts lol. Hope the colour fades a bit. 13 wks post relaxer on Sunday and going strong.

I pulled my nape taught yesterday, and it amazed me that is is past APL/about BSB. Back when I was relaxed, it never grew past a few inches...and then broke off. I have come a long way.

Hello all. I haven't updated yet so here goes:

Today, I washed my hair with KBB's Happy Baby Bar and deep conditioned with Taliah Waajid's Herbal Conditioner. I moisturized with get this, body lotion (Burt's Bees Naturally Nourishing Milk & Honey body lotion to be exact). I figured, the ingredients are all natural and similar to most hair milks so why not? I sealed with Castor oil and my hair is super soft and moisturized right now.

I don't think I will be trying any styles because my hair does best when it is left alone. So, I'll be wearing a shrunken fro or stretched puff for a little while.

I'm style "challenged" but my hair is growing in nicely and you can check out my siggy pic for an updated picture of my hair. I hope you all are doing well.

DC'ed on dry hair overnight with Silicon Mix Bambu. Going to wash it out now and put hair back into a ponytail and start my day. Keeping it simple will help me achieve my goals this summer.

I a however fighting the urge to color my hair!

my growth is fabulous, and i can't wait to do an update closer to the end! i have been washing and dcin weekly, moisturizing n sealin and keeping my hair cornrowed under my half wigs!

I just got hip-length extension braids to help me with my summer growth. I want at least 1.5 inches when I take these down in 6 weeks or so, remaining unreasonable hopeful:grin:.

i don't know if it's part of the summer growth (which has really boosted my progress) or also the fact that since coming here, i've been taking much better care of my hair, but here's the progress so far:

Checking in...still in braids. I can see the NG coming through and it's rather soft. I'm 16 weeks post today and plan to keep this set of braids in until the end of the month (20 weeks post). The plan is then to rest for a week or two and go back into another set of braids until mid-October. Following my routine strictly to promote growth...HHG.
