3. What products will you steam with? Too many to list
I co-washed with Hairveda's Moist Conditioner PRO, followed by steaming with Argan Oil and Koils by Nature Hydrating Shealoe Creamy Conditioner for about 20 minutes.
IDareT'sHair Yeah, my expiriment was a fail, cuz I left the conditioners in too long out of laziness and the results were not pretty.
I'll have to do it again some other time, but I CAN tell you that SD Mocha SI absorbed better while Pura CS smoothed my hair more. Oh, and I definitely prefer the scent of Mocha Silk over Chocolate Smoothie. Mocha Silk smells like a creamy, sugary Starbucks latte or something. While the Pura dc smells like dull, faux chocolate. I'm not a fan of the smell at all.
I steamed yesterday for 45 minutes after my aphogee two step protein treatment. I used Kenra MC, grapeseed and apricot oil. I think once a week is good enough for me.
I applied Rajasthani Henna and got under my Steamer for about an hour. Afterwards, after rinsing, I co-washed with Suave Naturals Coconut. I followed up with Hairveda SitriNillah Deep Conditioner & Castor Oil under the Steamer for approximately 30 minutes.
IDareT'sHair I steam, GHE overnight and then go on about my business.
The only time I rinse the oil out is if I do a HOT followed by steaming with conditioner. But when using oils/butters alone, I just leave 'em be and let the goodness marinate.
