I don't know where it came from... I haven't
cut my hair so maybe the relaxer never
reached it or... it broke off... I dunno...

So... it's my one year anniversary on LHCF.
I HAVE NOT TRIMMED FOR A YEAR
I HAVE NOT BEEN TO A STYLIST FOR A YEAR
I HAVE NOT RELAXED MY HAIR FOR A YEAR
I plan on rewashing because this looks a hot mess...
stay tuned to that probably around the 15th in my FOTKI...
but here are my pics... as you see I am barely scraping that
6"/year mark... I went from neck length to barely scraping
APL... that was my goal so I'm happy...
FOR 2008 my goal is to get past my bra strap...
hopefully I can get there my April 2009... and then
begin trimming off my relaxed ends... that's it... that's all.
My next update JULY 2008.

Your hair is beautiful - I'm 16 weeks post right and debating on whether to relax. I haven't had any significant problems thus far - at least as far as I can see - I'm a natural shedder no matter what I do - but last time I stretched for 14 weeks I had severe breakage and didn't know until I relaxed even though I though I was taking care of my hair properly. I would love to be natural but I'm scared of what my natural texture would look like and if I can handle it. I view your blog daily.
Any advice? Currently I'm at BSL - but my breakage occurred in the crown area and sides - I'm assuming it was not getting enough moisture when I was airdrying and bunning. I really would like to transition w/o BC or if I have to only to shoulder length.

I hate the way my hair looks in the pics...
looks so dry & dull but it so does not look like
