I was supposed to rollerset today so i can give myself a dusting....but plans change. and i'm just gonna co-wash and do a braidout.

don't know which conditioner i wanna use yet.

what about ya'll??????

Well, I'm gonna do my weekend wash which consists of a good looong DC, Shampoo, Condition, Air Dry and Bun. Luckily and somewhat unluckily, I CANNOT FIND THE ONLY COMB I OWN!!! Which means less manipulation and less breakage, my hair loves finger combing and takes it well but the comb is an addiction...I'll just let it stay lost...

hmm.... i think i might experiment with the overnight pre poo. and then roller set and saran wrap on sunday morning.

I last washed on Thursday with Nexus therappe.
I wanna co-wash, oil rinse and DC overnight. I don't have a hooded dryer and I try to use my blow dryer but I don't know if that's effective. So I want to start dcing overnight as a rule. last time i did that it came out nicely.
But I still haven't decided whether I should co-wash or just use shampoo
don't really know how to co-wash.
but everyone here swears by it so I wanna try

is it a shower comb?....i lose my shower comb every week. And i go looking for it like a mad person! i tear up everything looking for my precious comb. cuz its the only one i have too!:lachen:

before my journey i don't think i would've given 2 cares about a lost comb:look:

I might DC tomorrow if I am in the mood. My hair and I are on speaking terms again now that I discovered she really like aloe vera gel. I got second-day hair without having to wash it! I also discovered she likes heavy moisture, so if I can figure out a nearby place to buy some, I will be getting her some shea butter.

I was sleepy as h*ll last night, but I was like go ahead and get my touch up time over with.

Sectioned my hair into six sections (applied relaxer to sections based on stronger and weaker areas) - and did half and half method my own way..it was crazy, but I like doing it this way now :yep:

Had a balance of protein and moisture throughout the process -

Left my Wen Fig in overnight -

reapplied a joico protein/moisture mix over it this morning...

about to rinse now before I hit the streets with my baseball cap on...
:yep:

I did a flat iron last night and combed it out to let it air dry mostly straight.

I will be flat ironing in a few.

I'm so pissed, I'm just thinkin' 'bout saying forget all of this.. i'ma do an ayurvedic tea rinse, then tomorrow, I'm seriously considering getting some two-strand twists. i need to retain length ASAP if i wanna save any progress. Anyone here knows the best way to do it, please feel free to let me know. (Sorry for the mini rant, but I just noticed that i have a lot of shed hairs, and a few more broken hairs than I care to see. It's bad enough I don't feel like I'm making progress, although I may be making progress and don't realize it.)

i'm LOVING the wen fig! used it for the first time on wed. I only did an airdry with it. But WOOOOW! I'm highly impressed.

...even tho my hair was smelling like cough syrup all day the next day:lachen:

Megatek application for an hour, deep condition for 40mins.Cowashing, putting it in 4 buns, spray my leave in mix of isoplus, glycerin and jojoba oil, air dry and wearing a wig!

I'm shampooing, and treating my hair to the 'warm towel' deep condition...awwww it feels so good and my hair feels like butter afterwards.:yep:

YES! Its my precious Jilbere de Paris Shower Comb!!! I'm pretending to be glad in attempts of masking my deep sadness!

I'm gonna wash and dc today then do a wash n' go. I hope i'm not too lazy and skip the dc:nono:. I really need to stop doing that.

I can tell detangling might be a task today so let me get going.

Haaaaa

I don't even really smell it as much anymore now that I've been using it for awhile - I will follow up with a swipe of moist 24/7, so I'm good.

girrrrrl...if you dare...try to leave it on overnight...I was so curious to try, I finally did last night...just rinsed out -- nice soft hair. I do regret not trying this sooner:ohwell:, better late than never.

I'm gonna have to order another bottle soon. I can't even mess with a 16 oz...I gotta get the 32 oz.

If I get my hands on a lump sum of money again soon, I'm going for the gallon to put in inventory:look:.

I'm going to leave some Amla and Vatika in overnight. Then do a light protein treatment. Use some Joico Moisture Treatment balm and steam for 30-40 minutes, then roller set.

Wash and DC tomorrow. I'm going to use Lustrasilk shea butter cholesterol with mango.

I did an Aphogee treatment last night and I am in heaven. My hair was breaking all over the place and was just a ball of mush....now it feels great. I will make sure to do one every 3/4 months from now on, especially since I DC 2x per week.

Now I have my hair in bantu knots... I'll take them out soon and give myself a little trim

I'm relaxing today and then I have to dust the ends. I really hate dusting so that's why I'm putting the whole thing off by reading LHCF...I guess I have to get started sometime.

I've done the 2-step protein treatment by Aphogee (for the first time), now I'm sitting under my dryer with moisturizing conditioner. I *think* I might rollerset but I'd rather flat iron and keep it moving..lol. I bought Moroccan oil yesterday, so I'm anxious to see how it works!:yep:

Today I DCd with Lustrasilk olive oil, honey, and olive oil. Then I did an acv and honey rinse..

..Im going to wear a wash n go till my hair dries then twist it later on tonite. From today on my hair is going to be in twists til Tues or so.

Tomorrow Im just going to spritz and baggy my hair..not doing too much but my hair feels great and my curls are poppin w/o the use of any products..

Last night I did flat twists for the first time. They came out pretty good. Today or tomorrow I have to DC.

Today I decide to self relax. I had enough with paying almost $100 for a relaxer, trim, dc & curl at the salon. Plus on top of that waiting 45-60 minutes just to be seen, because my stylist is always over-booked. :wallbash:

So I went to my local BSS- brought ORS lye relaxer and replenishing Cond to do my own hair. I saved about $85 . I'm DC under the dryer right now, after that I will rinse, blow dry with some SAA and dust my own ends and flat iron with some CHI products.

Also, I applied CON condish-red cap to the length and ends of my hair while I relaxed my roots with the ORS.

My plan today was to give a few things in my PJ graveyard another try...Well things went horribly wrong. That stuff needed to stay in the graveyard obviously cuz my hair was a hard, tangled mess! So I had to start all over, this time using my CON shampoo and old faithful standby ORS replenishing. It always works, so I'm done experimenting for now!
