extra proteins ? Does it make it any more tangled than aphogee ?
if henna has protein in it, do I need to do my regular protein conditioners or does henna add enough to slow up adding more ?
...Yeah, I have lotsa questions![]()
It was easiest for me to scoop it up in my gloved hands and apply it to my length that way. Especially the second time, I made more of a gloss by adding honey and it was easier to apply. As I mentioned in my previous posts, I'll add pectin next time for even more ease.Icandoallthings said:hi ladies! I'm a lurker who, after 2 years, has finally joined! I just wanted to say that all of you have amazing henna results! I'm doing my second henna right now and I'm excited to see the results! I was wondering if yall knew how to get it on the length of my hair a little easier. Thanks guys!![]()

Ooooh, how'd I miss THIS thread!?!?! GORGEOUS Hair Ladies!!!
Nappyrina - my hair is like that too - a couple of twists in the front show the color pretty well, but otherwise - nada.
Here's a pic of my henna bling!! I think this is the best one I have without too much flash....

nappywomyn...you hair looks nice...the flat twists in the back look really smooth & soft..is that your natural texure or did you stretch your hair or something before doing the back?
Without the flash, the shine is no longer visible on my hair, so I guess in person it does not look shiny, but maybe a little extra sheen...the burgandy color does show up in the sunlight though really pretty but I hate that only a few sections look burgandy...I guess I have unintentional highlights![]()
