LOL this thread has been interesting.... What started with a girl trying to complement someone's hair turned into a discussion about weave, race, genetics, body type, and naked internet pictures!!! Well there is SO MUCH to comment about, but I will simply comment on the OP. I'm pretty sure the girls' hair is fake. I have seen multiple pictures of her and her real hair usually doesn't blend very well with the weave hair.

I have a friend who is Jewish because his mother was. Babies are automatically Jewish if their mothers are. But, he chose not to practice Judaism and is actually an atheist. But he is still considered to be Jewish, and you can tell by his name and family.

simple math. and a little biology.. not so simple afterall though:

1/2 white + 1/2 black = 1 biracial person

you get 100% of both of your parents (sperm and an egg each have 23 chromosomes so together that is the 46 that make a zygote, which will be the baby... blah blah biology blah bah) & you end up with all of what they are

two white people make a white person
a black and a mexican make a biracial person
an irish person and an african & asian person will make a multiracial kid
two biracial people (who are each the same 2 races)... make a biracial person. you didnt add two races into the mix (or subtract any either) so she is still just as much black as she is white.

think of it like crayons: red and yellow make orange
orange and orange make... orange. Still just as much red in there as there is yellow, no more no less. that is why a lot of creole people look biracial... you have a bunch of white french & black people having children, then their biracial children mix with other biracial (french & black) children... so overtime you have a group of "black" people who have lighter skin and hair with a looser texture and "look mixed" or "look white" like Beyonce's momma.

Yes, over time a new race can form, hence the Latinos or Hispanic people or whatever you want to call them now. They are their own race, they now have their own blood type and other factors that make them related to each other as a typical race would be related to each other, regardless of the country they are from.

For example, a Mexican whose hispanic and a cuban, who's hispanic will have a hispanic child, who by "ethnicity" would be part Cuban and part Mexican. But racially, that child is Latino.

Same with Asian, a Japanese parent and a Philipino parent will have a child who is racially Asian, however, ethnic Japanese/Philipino.

Another final example. Lenny Kravitz

His race: Black

His ethnicity: Bahamian/Jewish

And if you really want to break it down, he's:

1/4 African American (Maternal Grandmother)

1/4 Bahamian (Maternal Grandfather)

1/2 Russian Jewish (Paternal Grandmother & Paternal Grandfather)

And he considers himself either Black or Bahamian American. And he doesn't like to comb his hair

Exactly, that's what the Jews go by to consider who is Jewish. Because they are afraid of dying out. That's why alot of them do not like for their children to date another non-Jew. And if they are American, it really means to date another non-White Jew.

So by their definition, an hardcore Jew would NOT consider Lenny Kravitz Jewish. But most Jews, especially in the States will say he is Jewish, even though Lenny identifies with being Black. I mean he will say he is part Jewish but he classifies himself as a Black man.

Same with Mariah Carey. I mean she says she identifies with either being called mixed or being called Black. But she does not identify with being called white.

Or in other words, Mariah says you can call her a Black woman or you a Mixed woman, but she does not identify with being a White woman.

If you don't care what we think then don't ask. Once again, relax.. you're still making a big deal out of nothing. I reread my post, and I still don't see anything offensive. Why would you join a message board if you are that vulnerable? And as far as being supported by all of us on this site, you should know by now that there is always someone or some people who wont support what you have to say. I knew it on day one, because that is how it is in real life. I am the same person on this board as I am in person, friends can vouch for that. I refuse to sugar coat or lie or pretend or agree just because it is expected to protect feelings.

WOW...this is offensive. No one has personally attacked me. And I have not personally attacked anyone but you just took it to another level. I just didnt expect this thread to generate this kind of attention. I dont care what anyone thinks or whether they think the girl is drop dead gorgeous or butt ugly. I dont care about what anyone think about her skin, hair, parents, etc.... I just wanted to show the girl to the board. I feel bad for her in a sense that if this was about me I would be offended by SOME of the things said but thats it.
