Screw them dried up bald eagle h*es. Their insecurity is not your problem. Go on and be cute.

When my hair finally gets to see daylight, I will wear a shirt that says, Touch my hair and I will touch you. :look:

You are better than me. I'd still be in lock down now...but thank God for small mercies..

It has seriously come to this. Why do people (especially other black women:perplexed) feel that they can just disrespect black women?

:lachen:at dried up bald eagles. Maybe if they stopped relaxing their hair every two days and using basically motor oil on it, then they would have some dang hair.

:lachen::lachen::lachen: at the bolded.

But, OP you a good one. I would've had to go back to pre-Jesus and drop kick ole girl. That was totally disrespectful.
:lachen::lachen:Yep, folks need to chill with touching OP's hair. I mean, how do we know that she even washes her hands? I don't play that mess. You must have some beautiful hair to lure out trolls.:yep:

Cause they ain't never met a girl like me. I will kick your a-- and walk right out like nothing happened. I have swift reflexes. I react quick and I do not play.

Dang, there are some serious "Ride or Die" sistas here.

And in the most ghetto twang: "You Ain't neva say a lie bout dat!!"

I am so sorry that you had to experience such rudeness but I'm glad that you left when you did!! She'll reap her "reward".

LOL!

Well, I guess you could consider it a "compliment" of sorts (even though she was wrong). LOL!

The NERVE of some people. Seriously.

I am not endorsing any violence but i would have thumped her staright in her eyes(yes eyes, both of them).:catfight: She would go home black and blue and she even went further to make a comment like that:deadhorse:. Geezz girl i'm mad and it's not even me. I'm really sorry you had to experience that.

When it comes to our hair....oh yeah...

Sorry this happened to you...I don't believe someone would come up and put there nasty hands in your hair and then still claim its weave. I had a friend of the family run her hands up in my hair talking about "girl I wanted to see if it was weave" I slid her hand out and said "next time you can just ask"....HOW RUDE!!!!!!

No you didn't say "Ladidaisha"! :lachen: Please tell me that was her real name, PLEASE!

LMAO@ they gon pay what they owe! You've been watchin Boondocks haven't you?

That's exactly what I thought!

The nerve of her........but even more her dumbass still thought it was a weave with 2 strands of your hair in her hand. WTF! You are better than me. Luckily your sis was there, cuz if I was with you, we would've caught a case.

Yeah, the right person was with you. Cuz if it hadda been me, it would have started with some yelling, and then I would grabbed a handful and yanked it off her head and seen how she liked it. And that probably would have only escalated things and the next thing you know we're pouring bottles of conditioner down her throat and stabbing folks with afro picks. I mean, I know in the grand scheme of things 2 strands of hair is not that important, but the whole act was the epitome of disrespect and, well, I would have had to teach her some manners.

Some chick yanked on my hair once and it hurt.

...so I reached over.

...I put both of my hands into her hair and then I STARTED SHAKING UP HER HAIR STYLE!

When I was done. Her weave looked like a wind blown mop.
...and you know that chick had the audacity to get upset with me.
She walked off cussin.

Over the years I've had people touch my hair without asking, but I've only had one person PULL my hair.

Lismsjanet, if you ever see that chick again, I hope you smile. Smile, snap your neck around and swing you hair honey because what you experienced is pure vicious, hate. That green monster of envy engulfed that girl so much to the point where she had no control over her own actions. Do you know how insecure and how low her level of self esteem must be for her to be concerned about another person's hair. I see woment with beautiful hair all the time and I am always the dodo head running up to them to pay a compliment and ask what they use. Most of the time the women are surprised I even paid them a compliment because most women just say out loud it's a weave or they attempt to pull their hair as that female did to you. It is sad that many women can be just that caddy.

I know you are upset and I agree you have reason to be but never resort to lowering yourself to their level. Obviously, that female was watching you and jealous of you from the moment she spotted you or else she would not have went to the trouble of following you and GRABBING your hair. :nono: What a real nincompoop she is. One more thing I want to say is that it could have been worse. I will relate a real-life example to you. I work in a high school and in that school was a young, quiet, pretty black girl with long, thick, waist-length hair. One day, she wore it out and a couple of jealous, ugly, baldheaded females mashed a huge wad of bubblegum in her hair and the group of girls fell on her so as to smash it in even deeper into her hair. Well needless to say, she was in tears and I and my fellow coworkers were furious. I refused to have so much of that girls hair cut out because thats what those little monters wanted. My friend and I iced and iced and iced that wad of gum out of her hair. Very little hair had to be cut and you could never tell she suffered such a catastrophic event. Some boys later gave the names of the girls responsible and they were suspended. I loved it!!!!!!!!!

Long story short, there are people out there who are going to hate on you hard. I am not saying you must accept it but remember there are always other ways to deal with things without getting yourself hurt or in trouble with the law. If anything, I would have encouraged you to go to the store's security officer and report the incident. She had your hair in her hands and that is assault.:yep: I bet the dumb fool would think twice next time.

After reading this, all I could think of was DMX's "Party Up":lachen:

"That's why you layin' on your back, lookin' at the roof of the church
Preacher tellin' the truth and it hurts."

did you say anything to her? or you just walked off?
this is what I want to know.... where there any words exchanged between the two of you?

I can't imagine someone pulling my hair. I had to tap my share of hands for reaching to touch my hair, but pulling, wow:ohwell:

I would have called the police on her. I swear to you I would have. That is so disrespectful :perplexed

Sorry, but this had me laughing - if i ever find that girl that means if you out there reading this you know who you are you gone pay what you owe :lachen::lachen:

OMG!!! too funny. lol :lachen::lachen::lachen:

Yep, I would have picked up one of the combs, took it out of the plastic, shanked her a$$ with it, removed all of the DNA/finger prints(:rolleyes:I guess that's the police in me:lachen:), and called the police to make a complaint. But on the serious side you did the right thing.

Snowbal, thank you for this wonderful post. You are so right about how insecure this horrible woman was. Lismsjanet, I always tell my students & clients, "it's not about you". I tell them to remember that quote & almot use it as a mantra. People are doing things because of who they are not who you are.

My instincts would have been of anger & rage, but to act it out would have only left you in a mess.

Just by the responses on this board, she should be glad your LHCF sisters weren't there. That jail cell would have been packed.:lachen:

Please, do not let her immature, stupid behavior control how you feel and live. Your hair is beautiful. Be proud of it. Do not let her actions place fear in your heart. God wants so much more for you.
