me but my big miss was glued in tracks. I really just had to see for myself how bad they were.

[/ QUOTE ]

Have u tried sewn in ones? What was your experience with the glued-in ones?

Hits:
CON shampoo _Yes, this IS the first time I actually tried it

Miss:
Organics Carrot Oil Cream (tacky feeling, not like ORS)

Undecided:
Aubrey's Sea Buckthorn and Egg Shampoo (supposed to be extra moisturizing, but it leaves my hair squeaky)

I've had sewn in ones before. usually a full head and they almost always come out too thick. They llok great in the salon and the next morning it is heavy dense hair. So two weeks ago I decided I was tired of waiting for my hair to grow to bra strap and tired of it looking like a frizz ball that a cat coughed up (airdrying) and decided to go add some tracks. What I did not realize is that my hair is only 1 inch from brastrap. So I got the glue in tracks because they were cheaper than sew in. I must say my hair looked FABULOUS, but the glue doesn't last long

. and Glue remover doesn't really work either but sheen spray is great for getting it out and not ripping you hair out in the process.

It was when I ran out of sheen spray that the problems begain but I think I am okay now and 95% of the glue is out. And my hair is back to being a frizzball.

Melodee, I have all three of the Seabuckthorn products. I agree with you that the shampoo leaves my hair squeaky, but it preps it perfectly for the conditioner. The only downside is that I have to use a lot of conditioner (because of the thin consistency). I think the two really do work best together. Now, I have used the shampoo to wash out a hot oil treatment and it worked extremely well for that w/o being too stripping...

Oh, okay. Better luck next time. If you ever decide to sew in tracks yourself, it may be helpful to do the cornrows really small, and only sew hair onto every other cornrow. This can help minimize the extra thickness, but the skipped cornrows must be small enough that the hair can conceal it since they won't have anything on it.

Allandra please tell us more about Skala ... I am still looking for that perfect moisturizing conditioner.

[/ QUOTE ]
I really like the two Skala cream conditioners that I have (listed above). They make my hair feel so nice and soft (but not too soft).

They also do a great job at detangling my hair. Here's the web site: http://store.yahoo.com/jbktrading/skalabeauty.html

Hits:

Breakfree Shampoo. LOVE this. It is my shampoo for both my moisture days and my protein days. Detangles wonderfully.

UAN Crema. I hate the Crema Plus, which is a reconstructor, but I LOVE this. Very moisturizing

Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Daily Treatment. LUST didn't work for me. This does what LUST does for all those it works for. My hair just SWINGS with this in.

Redken anti-snap leave-in, Extreme Conditioner, All Soft Conditioner and All Soft Addictive treatment.

Phyto defrissant

Giovanni Direct leave-in treatment

Misses:

Paul Mitchell Supercharged Conditioner. Left my hair dry.

Redken All Soft Heavy Cream (tangled my hair) and So Long Conditioner (tangled my hair and left it dry).

Proclaim Carrot Oil. This, too, was drying.

Herbal Essences everything and Profectiv everything.

Jury's out on:

Redken Extreme Deep Fuel. My hair feels stronger, but there's still some breakage.
