Replacement For Ultra Sheen Duo Tex

Ya'll. This has been my holy grail for years and it's been discontinued:

Is there a good enough replacement for this? Or even a vendor that can willingly recreate it given the ingredients????

It's the OG for detangling my main on wash day and adding the protein needed to keep it in check!

I feel like this has been discontinued for like a decade. How big was your stash, that you’re just now realizing it? lol

There seems to not be a lot of protein conditioners/reconstructors like this on the market anymore... Aphogee. I’m currently using Joico kpak reconstructor and TIGI dumb blonde. I’ve never used a protein condish to detangle, so I cant say if these are good for that.

I think I replaced it with Neutral Protein Filler. It’s cheapest at Sally’s but you can find it on amazon.

You may still be able to find this at many local small beauty supplies.

You should start checking those. It's always normally sitting somewhere lonely on the shelves.

Agree with @Saludable84 NPF is a small little bottle, but IMO basically works the same.

OP, the closest dupes to Duo Tex are Dudley's DRC 28 and Aphogee 2 Step. Please note they're not a bargain like good ole Duo Tex. Thirty two ounces for $4.99 was the hook up. I still have a bottle somwhere in my stash.

I wouldn't detangle with these products in my hair.
