Supergirl said:My hair feels wonderfully healthy also after I use it. I like to follow it with Kenra IE.
Lanelle said:What is the consistency like? Liquid or more like a thick conditioner? Also, can you answer the question: Is this considered a protein conditioner or protein treatment similar to Aphogee Treatment for Damaged Hair?
Supergirl said:It's very liquid. I use a spray bottle to apply. I wouldn't say it's similiar to the Aphogee treatment except for maybe the color of the product itself. I was told by one stylist that the Duo Tex can be left on and hardened under a dryer. (like Aphogee)
MizaniMami said:Do you recommend using this with a heat and a cap? How long do you rec. that we keep it on?
Supergirl said:I pretty much stick to the directions. I leave it on for 10 minutes with no heat, no cap or anything, just hair hanging down and me hanging around the house.
gorgeoushair said:I wonder how this compares to Elasta QP Breakage serum? It appears to be the same color but the Elasta QP is a little thicker and I think it provides a little moisture. Any thoughts?

Cayenne0622 said:Forgive me for being lazy and not wanting to go back through the replies on this thread but someone did mention using this product right after she rinses out her relaxer and before she neutralizes. I understand the concept because your hair would be more receptive to the protein during that time??? Right?? But is it dangerous to not go immediately to the neutralizer? Would you get the same results by using the protein treatment immediately after you neutralize?

Supergirl said:I would not use anything before the neutralizer unless that specific relaxer system calls for it like Motions & Affirm. Otherwise, I follow the directions to a T. Relaxing is serious business.
rosie said:Has anyone with natural hair tried this?
I have 13 inch long natural hair and am in need of something to strengthen it.
My daughter's hair needs protein/strengthenng also. She is 8.
Can I use this and then use my Hair Mayo afterwards or do I need to just use a moisturizing conditioner/VCO treatment afterwards?
Thanks for your replies.
"BUMP" I'd like to know too. I really want to try this but, don't want anything permanent.scorpian said:bumping
