Raw Waistlength...Prettyfaceanb 3 Year Hairanniversary (PICS HEAVY)

So I always do an update in October because its my Hairanniversary Month. This month in 2007, I joined LHCF and started my hair journey.:grin:

I will be honest I did not "glam" up my hair for these pics for you guys because...well...I am too lazy and I dont care enough...sorry. (Hence the Raw in the title) *kanye shrug* :lachen:

I have a super keep it simple regimen: Moisture morning and night with glycerin based product and oil, braid at night in 3 plaits, wash/condition/detangle every friday night. :yep:

I have too many people I have watched, taken advice from over the years, etc...Needless to say...The advice on this site is priceless so Shout Out to all my Hair Legends! :yay::yay:

I dont worry too much about how the camera makes my ends look. They always thicken up in a couple months. I just stay on top of dust and mini trim when I relax and use heat.

Pretty! So you wear mostly twistouts then? Your ponytail has come a long way! Do you have a final goal?

Your hair is very lucious and thick. I really love the ponytail, I will be happy to get half of your thickness. I have also decided to let my ends play catchup instead of cutting healthy hair. Good luck in your future hair growing I will be checking out your fokti next. Good nite girl.

Congrats!! Oooh you have a lot of hair, I don't blame you, I wouldn't glam it up until it was a special occasion! Beautiful thick hair! You gro girl!

I am happy to see your progress pictures. Do you still drink your green concoction every night? I actually got the encouragement to take natural supplements (for overall health) from visiting your Fotki 2 months ago as well as reading the posts of other ladies that faithfully drink similar things.

Your pictures are beautiful. I really appreciate your simple regimen. I tend to be lazy myself and when I first came on this site and saw some of the more complicated regimens, I thought, "Maybe I should just live my life with no hair". Thank you (and others) for showing that it can be done by - Keeping It Simple.:yep:

Did you have any setback during those 3 years?

Thank you to everyone for your comments. Trust me....as long as you find what works for your hair (which can take time)....you'll reach each and every goal you desire.

I wear mostly braidouts, buns, and ponytails.

Final Goal: Umm...I dont know yet. I'll see wear the wind takes me.

See..you get me. This head of mine takes alot of patience and time to do. I dont have alot of that. I do straighten for special occasions and dates :D

No I dont. :( But I intend to start back like today actually LOL. But those drinks were awesome for my body and health. They are easy to make and taste good.

Thank you kindly. :D

Umm...very minor setbacks like a curlformers mishap once (it ripped out a lil of my hair in the middle) and not detangling properly at you take down a weave once (will lead to massive knots and dreading of the hair and takes ALOT of patience --days even--- and conditioner to detangle).

Other than that...I have done everything I can to avoid setbacks so I keep it simple, not a product junkie and reduce heat use significantly. Doing a lot to make your hair "grow" will leads to a setback.

Good rule of thumb: You may be able to increase growth marginal but overall you get avg. 6 inches a year so focus on keeping the 6 and not trying to pull out 7 or 8. Be patient and the length will come.
