Raw Waistlength...Prettyfaceanb 3 Year Hairanniversary (PICS)

Good rule of thumb: You may be able to increase growth marginal but overall you get avg. 6 inches a year so focus on keeping the 6 and not trying to pull out 7 or 8. Be patient and the length will come.

Preach!!!! It really made a difference when I changed my focus.

Your hair is beautiful!

OH HELL NAWWW!

@prettyfaceANB - dat ponytail is da truth n da light chile.... what is ur hair texture, your brand of relaxer, and do u exlax?

I am 4a....I used to use Mizani. Now I am a Hawaiian Silky lover. Its the bomb. Its cheaper and you get better results in my opinion.

I am between texlax and relaxed....I dont have wash and go hair but I am not relax'd straight either.

It was actually an accident. I reduced the strength of my relaxer when I started my journey because I was going to be self-relaxed again and I did not want to melt my scalp so I went from super to regular. With super you have to leave it on a bit to get straight. With regular, my hair just laughs at it but I am a punk so I put it in, smooth and straighten a lil, then rinse. I do not leave it in to sit. I think thats crazy especially if you're doing it yourself. My hair always reverts a little after a couple days. So I consider myself relax'd.

Thanks for showing your pics over time! Also love the relaxer pics, looks like you do a really good job with your relaxer.

Great progress, simple reggie, the relaxer tip (even though I'm natural), and can totally relate to the eyeroll pic. Love it, love it, love it!!!

Love Love Love the amazing braidout:yep::yep::yep: I wholehardedly agree with not trimming healthy hair when you keep it hidden!

Thanks for sharing - I look forward to seeing even more hair!!!

You hair looks absolutely amazing!!! Alas I will never have hair that thick.....but a girl can dream! Congratulations on this milestone and hoping to see you at hip length next October, God willing.
