So I need some help. I've been in my own twists for weeks now and am going on vacation in a week. I was planning on doing faux locs but I think my hair needs a break. How should I style it? I'll be in Florida for 2 weeks and don't want to do my hair while I'm there but I don't wanna do twists and a wash and go wouldn't work. Or should I still do the faux locs?
Hmmm I'll look into that. Thanks! Are you opposed to a crochet style? Maybe something like crochet twists or locs instead of loose hair to make your daily styling easier.

Happy Late BirthdayThe birthday celebration has commenced.
Touch downnnn Vegas
That's what I used to do when I was tired of hair lol then I got bored after a while because I didn't have any hairI feel like cutting my hair down using a #2 or #3 guard, then letting it grow out from there.. I just don’t feel like being bothered with hair.
I cut my hair last! Lol yeah I’m currently all about keeping it simple. I did purchase a rinse, so I will apply that tonight. That's what I used to do when I was tired of hair lol then I got bored after a while because I didn't have any hair
So I flip flopped, adding the amino acid treatment back to my upcoming hair appointment. This is thanks to wash day yesterday, which took forever. I don't have time for long wash days or styling sessions anymore. I don't want to relax my hair because I love my hair texture. It's that I need something to make caring for it simpler when my hair isn't in a protective style.Decided to change the booking on my upcoming hair appointment from an amino acid treatment to a silk press. I hate SSKs but I don't want to risk damaging my curl pattern from the high heat. Idk, I'll see what the hairstylist says about the treatment when I go.
That’s what I do. I’m trying to embrace my natural texture a bit, but I’m 40 and I ran out of patience in my 30s lolI’m thinking of becoming a straight haired natural. I’m tired of my shrinkage and want to show off some length
We’ll be back in July until the end of the year. Team No Buy!loving my locs. Will be 4 months loc'd tomorrow. I'm loving how simple my hair routine is. My loctician washes and does my retwists once a month and all i do at home is keep my locs moisturized and cover them at night with my loc soc.
I'm so glad I made the decision to loc
i'm still on my no-buy and will continue it until i use up my current oil stash. I use AVJ diluted with water as my moisturizer and oil my scalp with castor oil
I DESPISE burnt hair smell like ugh, come on please we've evolved from that. I'd rather smell like grease than burnt hair. There, there *pats back*I washed out the press. Unfortunately, my hair still smells burnt.
I'm not going to check for heat damage or check the length of my hair with my length check shirt because that will be too upsetting for me right now. All I did was put my hair in a few braids to stretch it out to prepare putting it in twists this weekend. That's not the hairstyle I wanted to rock after paying so much money at the salon yesterday.
I'm sweaty without the gym. I'd probably just melt away if I actually went. "Anybody seen Lucky?" "Yeah she's that huge puddle over there."I joined the gym. It’s gonna be a sweaty summer. Long story short, I need some braids…
Chile me too. This blowout barely lasted a week. I have a twa under these straight ends. It’s possibly the hottest summer ever. I have to start washing my hair more frequently.I'm sweaty without the gym. I'd probably just melt away if I actually went. "Anybody seen Lucky?" "Yeah she's that huge puddle over there."
May your gym endeavors be blessed.
