I plan on starting to CO wash my hair every night/everyother night and let it airdry and roll it with flexi rods in the morning before I go to work. It would have about 2 to 2 1/2 hours to set. Do you think that that would give me enought time to get a nice set.

My hair does so much better when it is freshly washed.

What does everyone think.

Let me make sure I understand you: You will co-wash at night, let it air dry and then roll in the morning? If so, why not just roll it at night, so your hair will have time to dry and get curly.

One reason is that I am trying not to sleep in rollers. Right now when I wash my hair I am washing early enough to let it dry and then I will roll it up and sleep in my rollers. My hair takes too long to air dry in rollers and in the mornings it is not all the way dry. I know there are some who uses flexi rods on dry hair so I was asking if they knew how long it would take to get a decent set, not so much curly but a soft set.

I use flexi-rods on dry hair, but I've never done it on airdryed hair. Sorry I couldn't be of more help...

Thanks, I am going to try it and worse comes to worse I will but my hair in a bun and call it a happy day.

Hope that works for you!!!! Would love to see the results. My natural hair is way too curly for that to work for me, I would have to wash and roll at night in order for it to take but Im sure yours will be too cute!

If I was aiming for a quick set, I would invest in some steam rollers.

Yes I agree, I love my Caruso rollers, they will give you a soft set and your hair will be curly as well. It will only take you about 10-15 minutes to get that style with the Caruso steam rollers.

I tried them once before and they didn't work for my hair for one reason their wasn't enough small ones for me to use and two it was too much moisture. I may had done something wrong but it's not worth me to try again at this time.

too much moisture usally comes from leaving the roller on the steam compartment too long. 5 seconds is good for most. How long were you leaving them on?
